"Food is good, but is the attitude that comes with it worth spending your money here? NO. I called for the lunch special for Teriyaki chicken, however, I forgot that I wanted the extra sauce on the side as well. I called back and mentioned to the lady who I was recently just talking to that I wanted to add extra sauce on the side as well. The hosts said okay Mhmm hmmm no problem. Once I get there she repeats the order and mentioned that I asked for no sauce on the teriyaki chicken and that I just wanted it on the side completely. I told the hosts that was not what I said. Instead of just saying okay she proceeds to go back and forth. Once I told her for the third time that 's not what I wanted. She now then has an attitude because she has to re-open the back and add it. While opening the bag very aggressively she then hands me my card and receipt to sign with attitude. I should have just left food there and walked out but this would be my last time because the attitude was uncalled for. I order from there all the time and they will see that on their register when you call. However, this is not the first time I encountered a attitude with hosts either. My fiancè has been going there for a long time and I told him after today I would no longer be spending my money there. This restaurant needs to work on its clientele and how they talk to people. It 's not a good feeling when a consumer can feel negative energy."

"Review: Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street, Wichita, KSI recently dined at Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street in Wichita, KS, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese cuisine, including sushi, soups, and steak, but there were some areas that fell short.Starting with the soup, it was served warm, but I found that it lacked some flavors that I was expecting. As someone who enjoys bold and rich flavors in soups, I was a bit disappointed with the taste. The sushi, on the other hand, was good despite falling apart. The presentation was visually appealing, and the taste was enjoyable. However, I did notice that some of the sushi rolls were not tightly rolled and tended to fall apart when picked up with chopsticks, which was a bit inconvenient.Moving on to the seating, I was seated in one of the booths, but I found that the seats were worn-out and uncomfortable. The cushions were flattened, and it detracted from the overall comfort of the dining experience. One highlight of the meal was the steak my wife ordered, which was cooked medium rare. She thoroughly enjoyed it and mentioned that it was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. This was one of the highlights of our meal.Unfortunately, the service was lacking in some areas. We did not receive any refills for our drinks, which was disappointing and left us feeling a bit neglected. In terms of the ambiance, the restaurant had a casual and relaxed atmosphere with Japanese-themed decor, but the worn-out seating did affect the overall impression. In conclusion, my experience at Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street in Wichita, KS had some ups and downs. While the sushi was good, the soup lacked flavors, the seating was worn-out, and the service was not up to par. However, the steak was a standout dish, cooked to perfection. If improvements are made in the areas of flavor, seating, and service, it could enhance the overall dining experience at this restaurant."
