"I ordered Linguine alla vongole. The clams were fine but the pasta was awful. It tasted as if they had left it standing somewhere for awhile. It was all stuck together, cold and tasted like cardboard. I have gone for dinner and that was fine but lunch was terrible. Service was slow and I will not return for awhile and no recommend lunch at Carmine’s"

"Food was excellent. Entertainment was great. The only thing I had a problem with was I was trying to put my food in a takeout container and waiter almost took plate out of my hand to clear table. I wanted to save some sauce for my shrimp, but that too had been taken. The restaurant was not crowded. There were quite a few empty tables and no one waiting, so there was no reason to be in that much of a hurry to clear dishes."

"Enjoyed the ability to not feel rushed during a business meeting. Service was superior. Staff was very helpful on target with menu suggestions. Dining room was nicely painted with scenic views and seats were very comfortable. Did not have any alcohol, but the bar also looked like a place you want to stop and enjoy a cocktail or light bites. Note it was tricky to pull in the entrance is on a highway with a merge area right where you need to turn in to the parking lot."

"Ordered fried calamari and had black pasta with tiramisu for dessert. The calamaris were cooked to perfection, so crispy with soft inside. The black pasta was the highlight for me; freshly made pasta was the best I’ve had in a while and the sauce was great as well (even though my husband wasn’t a fan of the sauce.. I guess depends on the person). Tiramisu was a bit disappointing thus the 4 stars. I personally prefer the bread completely soaked in coffee but you could see the bread and didn’t seem to have much coffee. Overall, it’s made to my ‘favorite restaurants in UES’ list and would definitely go back to try more dishes. Our waitress was also great and the service was good too."
