"Very welcoming two layers of hosts one at ground level; one at restaurant level just off elevator. Welcomed us graciously and allowed us to have a drink in patio bar w/ no rush to be seated however, our table was ready for when we were ready. Cocktails were pricey at $25ea though very tasty. Bartender was very friendly. Great vibe and ambiance in patio bar. Convenient location near Bryant park (though entrance was tough for siri to find! Dinner food was very good: I had the braised shortrib pasta and my wife had veal. We also got burrata salad appetizer which was VERY tasty. Very good (free bread. Wine was pricey did not see bottles less than $150, though admittedly it's possible there were some out there I missed. It is an EXTENSIVE wine list. Service was extremely efficient top shelf w/ multiple hands to deliver, present, bus, etc. Our server was pleasant and efficient, though not too warm. in his defense, he may have been simply keeping it professional and not too chatty. Love everything about the place except the price: one round of drinks, two salads, two entrees, one bottle of wine was just under $500 w/ tip. Likely not out of line w/ numerous other fine dining establishments just not what we anticipated."
