"Loved the open old fashioned setting. It was pretty empty though. Food was good but not extraordinary for the value. Disappointed that they didn't remember to bring the dessert with candle and happy birthday that I had requested when I made the reservation. I am glad that I tried this new place."

"A fun, casual spot with fantastic outdoor dining in the adjacent courtyard. Service is a little uneven- they delivered the wrong pizza twice. However, the quality of the crust makes up for any frustration. It is slightly charred, bubbly, and yeasty. Salads are fresh and delicious. Drinks are great. The tartufo afogato is heavenly."

"five of us came to a birthday party on a week night. we made our reservations on open table for 19:00 clock, but when we got in, I got the feeling, it was a bit of a surprise for the staff. we had to wait for them to put together tables and to put ourselves as if we had gone to the house. we waited for an incessant time until our food comes to the table after the order (approx. an hour). at least bring the salads out to keep us and let us think that eating is somewhere in itself. we were so stunned that we went through 2 baskets. in vicolo’s defense, it was a Thursday evening that is a merchant, to get a free one. So it was pretty busy. but this generous offer has been offered to mon thurs for years, so I would think that they will pat their time down in a busy night, whether his bogo or not. I would imagine it was as busy as a Saturday night. No matter, despite the tedious waiting time, it was fabulous to eat. I ordered the Branzino special, which was absolutely delicious. one of us ordered the ravioli and shaved how good it was. so I am torn large food vs. terrible service. we had to call the server and finally the owner when the server was not available to move along the dinner process. can we order dessert now? can we have the delicious aromatized grappa that is offered free? can we have the taste? I got the impression as benny, the owner saw our frustration, he realized that I had put a note on the open table notizen that we celebrated a birthday so that he had a pattern score of desserts with a candle. well saved, benny! the desserts were delicious. it would have been nice if coffee was offered at that time. I will give vicolo definitiw another chance, but the improvement of the service would have made the evening perfect."

"I love a good authentic Italian weekend dinner and when I saw the reviews I immediately made reservations for Capri. I thought I was early when I reached at 6, but the restaurant was packed. First off professional and extremely good service. The grilled eggplant marinated in oil, garlic and red pepper was sheer delight. Mozzarella in Instalata caprese was as fresh as it could get. Main course ravioli aurora with spinach and ricotta was as good as it got but the Fettucine Del Golfo with tomato and shrimp was the star of the day. We were satisfied and happy customers! Highly recommend for a truly authentic experience!"

"Great little authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Santa Ynez. Food was impeccable. My wife got the spinach ravioli and i got the assorted fish entrée. Only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5, is because the dinner plate only came with the fish and a small little arugula salad with some tomatoes. Was hoping for a little side pasta or rice but it was still amazing. Will definitely be returning to this quaint little restaurant"

"The food is absolutely fantastic! We always start with the disc rostica to share because their flatbread is amazing, made and grilled in-house in their wood-fired oven. I ordered the Casa salad, which was refreshing, while my friend chose the earthy option, which turned out to be sweet and delightful. For my main course, I had the pesto prawn bucatini. The pasta was cooked al dente, giving it the perfect chewy texture. The sauce was light, not oily, and full of flavor, with fresh shrimp. Just a heads-up: there are shells on the shrimp, which didn’t bother me but is good to know. For dessert, I opted for the trio plate. They offer classic flavors like chocolate and pistachio, along with some unexpected choices such as rice. The atmosphere is nicely casual, making it perfect for a quick bite at the bar or celebrating an event with a group of friends. The menu prices are higher than what you'd find at a fast-casual restaurant, but they are reasonable for the quality provided and are comparable to other restaurants in the Redmond area. They even post their menu on their beautiful website. This place has become one of our local favorites, and I can't wait to return to try more dishes!"
