"After searching for a reasonable place that serves delicious pizza, trying to find a place with at least four stars, we decided to try Little Italy. Receiving a warm welcome walking into the door, we were invited to sit in a cozy corner. Our waitress Beth was great at serving our food, recommending what she liked and what most others get, promptly refilling drinks, suggesting refills of our special drinks, and ready with boxes for the items we were finished with. No other place could've treated us this greatly. If we're back in town again, we'll be coming back. ?"

"I really enjoyed my visit to La Guardiola last week. My wife and I ordered a medium pizza and we still had 2 slices left which we took home. I would suggest the small size for one person, medium size for 2 people and the large size for 3 or more.Staff is friendly, prices are fair and this is a BYOB restaurant so if you want to bring your own wine, beer, it's ok. They do sell sodas and other soft drinks and the prices are also fair.They have an outdoor patio which is open during warmer months but they also have an indoor area in case you want to dine in although I believe most people order delivery and take out. The restaurant still has a nice small restaurant vibe so you won't feel you're at a pizza slice joint.They open Mon-Sat until 9pm if I'm not mistaken and close on Sundays. No reservation is needed but give them a call before you go."

"Located in the Theater District, Barbetta is the oldest Italian restaurant in New York City. This historic landmark still owned by the family that founded it back in 1906. Here, they stir clear of the rustic Italian look that’s typical of many Italian restaurants, opting for a grand, elegant dining room complete with Piemontese antiques and a chandelier.<br/ <br/ I ordered the Risotto alla Piemontese with wild porcini mushrooms $21) and paired it with a Piemonte Chardonnay. This dish has been served at Barbetta since its founding in 1906. The risotto was well prepared and had an earthiness from the porcini. While John aka “Mr I can’t stand mushrooms” thought the mushrooms added an unappetizing color to my risotto, I thought the color and flavor of mushrooms throughout the dish was delightful. Rich and earthy without being overwhelming. I enjoyed every bite. Sigh, I really need to take a trip to Italy!"

"Our first visit here was an early Mother’s Day celebration. Everything was good. Service was very attentive. Several other groups had birthdays being recognized, and that brought out the wait staff with a pyrotechnic display on a dessert, but there was one member with an exuberant singing voice of such volume that it physically was painful to hear."

"Omigod! Lemme tell you about this place..... My husband and I love to try new places when we are out and about doing errands and decided that for lunch we would eat fancy Italian . We get here and we are asked if we wanted to sit indoors or outdoors.... always choose outdoors. Their patio is hidden behind the restaurant and it is beautiful, they have heaters around the patio and if you get too hot they will turn it off for you, at least they did for us when we went. The service? Wonderful! Our glass was never empty and the server was the nicest guy who gave the BEST recommendations. The food was obviously made with love, despite being full we had to have more and ordered a dessert. Overall, if you want authentic Italian food that taste like heaven I 10/10 recommend this place."

"I would highly recommend this place! My friends and I went for my birthday! They had thought of everything, the table was set with a happy birthday sign! The service was impeccable, food was outstanding! Our waiter was excellent, so thoughtful and had excellent suggestions for food and drinks! I am gluten free and I was in awe of the Gluten free menu! They had bread, pasta, pizza and salads! What more could a GF gal want!! Will definitely be back!"
