"Fabulous food and excellent service so lovely to spend the day! I will come back soon for sure. The pea soup was out of this world, my friend’s mushroom barley soup was equally scrumptious and the falafel and pita sandwiches were extraordinary. Mine was extra spicy, my friend’s regular. Both were amazing especially when combined with coleslaw and pickle and dressings on the side. This was the most superb vegetarian luncheon for the two of us. You’ve got to go to Mendy’s 2.0 in person or online or on Goldbelly as soon as you read this review."

"Long time New Yorker growing up with going to kosher or kosher style deli places. Deli counter on one side, table/booth seating on other side. Cole slaw and pickles offered to table for munching while one decides what to order and waiting for your food (refills given when requested). Not only brought back good memories but food was good and wait staff was excellent. If you want a New York kosher deli experience along with the food, then this is the place."

"Absolutely a must for brunch when in NYC. The food is delicious and tastes super fresh. They also have a great outdoor seating area which is a perfect place to sit and relax for a couple of hours on a breezy Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I went with a friend and we ordered the Veggie burger and the Chilaquiles and both things were absolutely delicious! We cleaned up our plates. "I have never had a better breakfast anywhere. And I'd like to say I have pretty high standards and great taste in food. The pancakes were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! I even got seconds for my kids at home! The owner is always there and greets guests with the most respect, even making time for small talk when he would otherwise be doing something else. I asked him about the dessert, and he said that he would make sure to hold some chocolate cake for me just so that i could have a better day next time I came.And the WAITRESSES!!!!! They are so nice to everyone! they are always smiling and they take your order by memory, never having to write anything down.The food is great, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere is fantastic!100/10 I would give a million stars if i could"

The falafel was also really good and fresh. I've never had a falafel taste as clean and fresh as that one. They complimentary sour veggies, olives, and freshly done pita bread. If you're vegetarian/vegan this is a great place because there are a lot of options. I do not recommend the schnitzel because it was nothing out of the ordinary. Their menu is a bit on the pricier side but it is well worth it due to their extremely large portions."

"This was my first and last time at this restaurant. I arrived on time for a 6:45 reservation with my elderly grandmother and three children, only to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Despite speaking to the manager, we were constantly overlooked as other tables were seated before us. Once we finally got our food and drinks, the waitress was great and the food was tasty. However, the experience took a turn for the worse when we ordered a cake for my 5-year-old's birthday. Despite waiting 30 minutes for dessert, it never arrived with the sparkler or birthday song promised. We asked for the bill, but even that was not provided to us. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and it is clear that this restaurant is poorly run. We will not be returning."
