"No valet parking, which is uncommon for Federal Hill restaurants. Out of calamari at 4:30 pm. Also out of the dinner I had ordered of a somewhat limited menu. Asked to share a salad which they split and charged us $4 to do so. Overall a disappointing experience"

"really great place: service was excellent. appetizers were pretty good garnel cocktail, tempura garnel, and skallop crudo. pretty well humiliated my star of one. the escaped were good, but a colleague steak came out when it was under a heat lamp and not very fresh hot. that was disappointing. our other two entrees (lamb chops and ribeye) were better presented. overall it was a good experience and dinner. some glitter; hopefully only this day. will be updated here after the next time."

"I ordered one dish and found the food to be good, the service fast, and the staff pleasant. I have never had any major issues, and when I did, they were handled nicely. I know prices have gone up due to supply issues and current circumstances, but it still may be a bit expensive. Overall, it's a good place and I would recommend it."

"Chicken sandwich was so sad… the patty was so small in every dimension, smaller than the palm of my hand, thinner than the palm of my hand, and as a result it was overcooked and dry. Everything else was really good though sadly. The fries were nicely cooked and salted, the bun was great for a chicken sandwich, the pickles and aioli were great together, but the chicken was missing. The star of the dish was just not present. For $15!!! We all know a place nearby we can get a bigger and better fast food sandwich for half the price…. I don’t plan on coming back as I am trying to find a restaurant in the area that actually has a good fried chicken sandwich that beats a fast food restaurant."

"I’ve ordered from Mannys for years and the although the food is good and the service is great, their prices have skyrocketed. I understand that the economy isn’t great but $48 bucks for a chicken finger dinner and a pizza delivered is nuts. Plus they got rid of the rice pilaf and the grilled chicken just doesn’t hit the same with white rice."

"MIXED GRILL. This is 1 of the top best dishes from New Star, in my opinion. A Mixed Grill consists of grilled lamb chops and chicken breast over a bed of yellow rice, and a salad. This Platter comes with 1 white sauce. So add an additional white sauce, believe me. If anybody want to taste the best of Newstar, The Mixed Grill is where it is at. It is a healthy sized platter. I try to master eating the whole platter, yet I succumb most of the times. That is how good the Mixed Grill is. I TRULY love it"

"Wow, hold on a second. I couldn't help but notice that there are actual Italians working in this restaurant. It certainly seems that way to me. These individuals managed to replace Little Caesars (thank goodness!) and we ended up making a great spur-of-the-moment decision to try out some delicious and authentic cuisine. I've been to Italy once before, and these calzones really hit the spot. The service was friendly and overall it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant may not be fancy or very large, but the flavors were fantastic. The person sitting next to me, who seemed like a pizza connoisseur, even went up to the register to proclaim that it was the best pizza he had ever tasted. The garlic bread and knots were also exceptional. I can't wait to come back and try out their pastas next time."

"We usually love primos! Delivery was prompt through door dash even on a Saturday night. However we ordered Grandmas thin crust pizza for the first time. Grandma would crack a molar on the crust! Seemed a little overdone. Flavor was great as always but wehad to scrape the dough off the hard bottom to enjoy. Also $60 through door dash for one pizza and two small garden salads ????"

"We celebrated our brothers birthday (6 of us) had a lot of fun, especially the guys watching football. The waitress was very nice and efficient, kept checking on us, pizza, fried chicken and salads were good and large portions. Price was really veryreasonable for alcoholic drinks and food. "The owners here use people. They drive a $100k BMW have their kids working here. If you deliver for them, they pay 6 bucks an hour, you're washing all the dishes and doing all the cleaning while his kids take all the deliveries. They hide tips and probably keep half. When i called him out on it, the owner shaddi tells me i look like a druggie. What a joke this guy makes fun of people. He's keeping tips if that's his only response to an older skinny guy who has cancer. I grew up in an orphanage because my mother was an addict. So this really upsets me. Especially since i dont use drugs. Rich guy picking on people that he uses. Well done. They don't clean at all. They have a rodent problem. Dead mice or rats out back and you can smell it."
