"I called once in February to order a cake a week in advance, that is on their website, only to be put on hold while I could hear everything going on in the background and could hear 2 coworkers carrying on a conversation with each other for 12 minutes. Only to be rudely told by one of the employees that I could not get that cake with no reason stated. I asked to speak with a manager and she took down my information. I had to call back and leave my name 3 more times before finally getting a call back 4 days later. The manager was going to make the cake happen but because days had gone by, there was no way the cake could have been made in time. I called back today, 6/16/2023 to order a Lemon Meringue Pie for Tuesday, 6/20/2023. Only to be told, that they only do these pies on the weekends. I asked, “so I can’t order the pie to be baked and picked up on Tuesday?” And the employee said no. I’m not sure what happened to this bakery but it’s really a shame to have called twice this year to order a cake and a pie that are both on their website (no matter the cost) and to just be told nope, sorry, can’t and won’t help you. We have over 20 employees and used to order all of our birthday cakes from here, but those days are over. I will never order from here again and you should consider ordering from here as well, considering you cannot get everything on their website and I guess they only make cakes on the weekends?? There are PLENTY more bakeries in the city that do want our business!"
