"My husband and I were very disappointed in our meal. We ordered baby back ribs that were so large and full of fat that my husband knife would not cut though. When we asked the waitress stating that we order baby backs she said they are baby backs, sometimes there just large . Im 65 years old and my husband is 80. I assure we know the difference.. Just not a good meal all around."

"This was a lovely spot to meet up with a friend. It had a very cozy and feminine atmosphere. I would definitely suggest trying the charcuterie board - it was fantastic. The service was excellent as well. On the downside, the meatball we ordered was a little dry. The location in Market Square has seen better days, so walking to and from the restaurant, especially at night, felt a bit risky. There were some rowdy kids who came into the restaurant and disrupted the peaceful atmosphere by running around and being loud. Despite that, the overall ambiance was still comfortable and enjoyable."

"The New Year’s Eve food was disappointing for the price. Prime rib presentation laying on top of broccoli and mashed was odd. Meat was tough. Have been here before with better results. Won’t go back with the limited menu"

"My husband and I would go on Tuesday like 3 times a month? Tonight there was a beer and a young waitress didn't come back to take our order, and after 20 minutes we had to ask for our check to pay for the 1 beer a piece that my husband and I ordered. We went and the waitress never asks why!!! It's bad if the DJ sees that you're coming and don't eat and go and no questions from the waitress. There was only one other table or not that they were busy. The waitress went from our table at least 10 times between serving one table and going in the room from the DJ. I would always get the chicken cascades and the last time the waitress asks me why I didn't want a box to go, said there was nothing to them. !"

"Went here about a week ago, and the breakfast was really good! Especially, the cinnamon rolls! They were in my top 5 best cinnamon rolls I’d say. Not that I’m some cinnamon roll expert or anything, but they stood out for sure. The icing was more cream cheesy instead of the typical store bought, and even the outside of the roll was soft and flavorful (sometimes it gets rough on the outer edges). The Spanish omelet was good. I thought the chorizo was just meh, and could have used more cheese. The potatoes and the jelly were really good which were part of the sides. Overall, it’s a nice little farm house vibe breakfast place with good food, and great cinnamon rolls!"

"Terrible place. My fillet was boiled. When it came back, it was like the Pittsburgh style....burns on the outside, but okay on the inside. Someone named Nick came to our table and said he didn't agree with me. That was extremely rude and unprofessional. Don't argue or not with your customers. We will not return."

"I recently visited McCrossen's Tavern in Philadelphia and had a decent experience overall. My friend and I ordered the French onion soup and the fried chicken sliders, and while they were okay, they didn't quite blow us away. However, the drinks were solid, and we enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the restaurant.The highlight of our visit was the fact that we had a good time the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and it made for a nice night out. That said, I do have to mention that the service was a bit slow. While our server was friendly, it took a while for our food and drinks to arrive, and we found ourselves waiting longer than we would have liked.Overall, I would recommend McCrossen's Tavern as a nice spot to hang out and have a drink, but the food and service could use some improvement. It's worth checking out if you're in the area, but keep in mind that you may have to be patient while you're there."

"Went here on a Monday night after seeing numerous promotional Facebook posts about it. I was definitely surprised to see that it was in an outlet upon arriving but they certainly didn?t disappoint. Unfortunately they were out of the French Onion soup for the day and I instead opted for a Crab Bisque and I will say it was the best seafood bisque soup I?ve ever had. The calamari was alright. They had a duck special that week and it was cooked to perfection. The mashed was just okay as well as the vegetables. I was very pleased to see they had rice pudding and ate all of it in one sitting because it was so good and milky. Very good service, they bag your own food which surprised me in a good way. $100 after the tip a bit expensive with all things considered (spent the same money at the Franklinville Inn) but definitely worth the visit and cost."
