"We made a reservation and arrived on time, but no one acknowledged us. Finally, the manager looked at us and asked if we were waiting for a table. After waiting for 20 more minutes and at least six different staff members passing by us, we decided to leave. We never had the opportunity to taste the food, and we would not return due to the poor experience."

"Our waitress, Tina, was superb!! I can’t say enough about her. She was pleasant, attentive and good eye to eye contact when she spoke to us. Very positive. Our table ordered appetizers. Our entrees were the filet mignon and a “special” which was the Chilean Sea Bass. The filets were cooked to a perfect temperature (medium rare and medium). You could SEE the slight differences. (I used to cook at the grill in a steak house). My Sea Bass was awesome. Cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful champagne sauce. A terrific dining experience!"

"The food is wonderful and huge portions. The drinks are strong. The atmosphere is a bit lively and nosey if you’re up for that mood. Our waiter was more on the pushy side and the rest of the waitstaff rushed us out on my last bite. Other than that, it’s great overall."

"we decided to try the delivery during covid, and I am so glad that we did. eating was fantastic. the food came in our house pipping hot and the driver was ever so pleasant. we ordered three dishes the fish and chips delicious, the. all dressed submarine with fries and the bdr spaghetti. the portions were incredible, let's just say we eat for lunch in the morning. they wrote about the container bon appetite and stay safe and I thought that would be a really nice note. I will order again very soon."

"that was our worst experience in a restaurant. rosebud has failed for my birthday party. they brought out the four derées for the four adults and left the two children waiting for their derées for 20 minutes. when we immediately asked where the food was the children, they told us very briefly that it comes, but I could see that they put the pizza in the oven after they served the adult. when my man told the manager, it is not good practice to bring out all the kidnappers of the adult and let the children wait 20 minutes when they ask for their food, he said rudely: "no excuse me, what else should I do?" manager I have ever seen the worst in a restaurant in my whole life. ruined the birthday, ruined the dinner, ruined our impression of rosebud forever. Moreover, the fish special was fishy and had no taste at all."

"I just want to say as a disclaimer: I love this place and I’m only posting because I’m extremely disappointed. This was the bruschetta. I’ve never had a worse bruschetta. It’s too bad because their chicken piccata is out of this world!! So delicious. But this is like the worst thing I’ve ever ordered lol. There isn’t even any basil which it was supposed to have. "On Saturday night, the restaurant was very quiet. We were seated at 7:30 and no one else came in after us. I ordered the Sunday Ragu, and while the sauce was delicious, the sausage was just okay. The meatball was dry and overcooked, and instead of beef braciole, I received a stuffed chicken roll that I did not like. One of my friends ordered shrimp parm and enjoyed it, while another friend had the sausage scarpiello and thought it was only okay. Someone else ordered the veal and found it to be tough and dry, leaving most of the meal uneaten. However, dessert was very good. This was surprising because we had a great lunch there about a month ago. Perhaps it was just an off night."

"The people are very nice but I would not come back I'm afraid.. I don't think they are really having quality control on the food coming out of the kitchen. The place was not busy and so maybe the quality of ingredients are not the best. The salad could feed 5 people.. Caesar you can't really take home. There is usually a bread service to go with Italian. That was missed. Then finally the dishes were so cold my wife's food felt like it was take from the fridge it was so cold. I had the beef short rib and it was just warm. The pasta was ice cold and watery and the sauce was room temperature and jelly like. The chicken was the only hot thing but it was burnt. My mashed potato's were so cold like they were taken from the fridge reheated and then sat for a while. Plus large pieces of potato and another tell tale sign was watery and not creamy. My short rib was also cold and when I had them take it back I waited forever. The sauce was split and not fresh either.. When it finally came back it still wasn't hot but room temp. The waitress was awesome and people like I said were nice but the food quality I give it a one star and the service brings it up to two stars. Sad to see but in Mandeville it's hard to have a great restaurant because there just isn't enough people dining out. So I hope they can make changes for the better and make food better.."

"Carmine's is a fantastic new restaurant in the Rosemont area that is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, with just the right amount of spices to please your palate. I had one of the best Italian sausage and pepper sandwiches of my life. If you're a seafood lover, you have to try their Linguini Pescatore. The dish is packed with juicy shrimp, calamari, and mussels, all cooked to perfection along with the linguine. Our server, Caitlin, added to our excellent experience at the restaurant. She was very helpful with menu recommendations and drink selections, attentive to our needs without being overbearing. We will definitely be returning to Carmine's not only for the amazing food, but also for the top-notch service. Thank you, Joel."

"7 years ago my husband and I came here for dinner during our wedding weekend, we came back on Friday night. We were not disappointed. Before I start with the food, a big thank you to Drusilla our server, you were wonderful. And now for the food? Your Bolognese sauce was delicious and as great as the memory, you have not lost your touch. The chicken parmigiana was perfectly cooked and tender. The trifecta meatball was fluffy and very full flavor as was the grilled chicken. The fresh gnocchi was so good it just melted in my mouth. Many times in life you find out that your memories exaggerate the tastes and experiences. If anything you have all exceeded our expectations and memories. "After a recent fiasco with a chain pizza restaurant, I decided to give all the Mom Pops a try and help support local businesses. I ordered a pie using the Slice APP and the order was ready when I arrived, no waiting. The price was average and still reasonable. We ordered a white gourmet pizza, the spinach and tomato. According to the pie description on the menu, it is supposed to be spinach, sliced tomato, mozzarella and ricotta. What we got was some spinach for color, chunk tomato and globs of ricotta more for appearance than taste. So it was a very nice looking pie but not very tasty. The primary ingredient, spinach, wasn 't present in the amount it should have been. SLICED tomato was not what we got either. The ricotta might have been nice mixed together with the mozzarella which you get anyway, why is that even listed? That 's standard in every pie, right? I thought it was just okay. My wife and son thought otherwise. They didn 't like it at all. My son even commented, Dad, I didn 't even like the crust. LOL So overall, kinda okay but not tasty."

"A decent place for dinner. The service was friendly and the food was okay. Tried the nachos with beef, pretzels and beer cheese, cheese curds, garlic fries, and fried pickles. Nothing was absolutely spectacular tasting but was decent. The Buttface Amber Ale they have is pretty good and I heard their Porter was good as well from others in our party. There was some confusion at the hostess station about our reservation but they sorted it out eventually and were able to seat us. It's a plus that it's walking distance from hotels in the area."
