"Not only must I update my review, I have to erase the old one completely. Went on a Saturday night and the place was hopping! The live entertainment was very good and service was doing a helluva job keeping up. However, the old Jefferson House couldalso be a very busy lakeside bar. The difference now is that it is also a place to get great food. My prior review (a few yearsold) said to stick to burgers and fries, no more! Try the tacos; try the stuffed mushrooms; try the fish and chips! This isgood stuff! I'd recommend other dishes, but that's all I've had so far. We are so happy we came back! One note: Lose thepolitics. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but having it displayed everywhere is a bit obnoxious."
