"Food=OK. Service=Horrible. A poor wait staff can spoil a good meal. La Terrazza has great potential, ocean-facing views, good pizza, and a reasonably priced Italian menu. Service is horrific, perhaps it was the waitress that took care of our table, and the same waitress took care of two neighboring tables, both with similar bad service. From her description of a very specific Italian sauce: It some kind of tomato sauce , to explaining why our appetizers arrived at the same time as our entree: We 're pretty busy tonight , we knew that we were off to a bad start. We never received bread (the other tables seemed to get that, at least), and we witnessed much confusion as tables were cleaned to await the line of diners who were trying to get in. The food was good, so the kitchen gets a good review, the eggplant part tower was as good as any I 've had before. There needs to be some organization of the service at LaTerrazza. It did seem that there was a manager in charge, since the neighboring table demanded to speak with him. I witnessed our waitress cleaning tables, refilling water and cutting and preparing bread baskets for the tables (not ours, unfortunately). More attention to the orders that were being served may have redeemed her, and our dinner. Our waitress did comp our dessert items, she knew that she had screwed up. Normally, I 'd tell her that it wasn 't necessary, but I gladly accepted after our dinner disaster."
