"The Arlington is an absolutely beautiful place, you can feel the history as you walk through the halls. This building is 100 years old, it of course is going to have it 's problems and considering it wasn 't thrown up in a week like a Holiday Inn this place is I 'm sure expensive to maintain, so give it some grace. Yes it is old, yes it smells musty because of the age but, if you appreciate history and can see the charm in it you 'll love it here. It 's not a Hilton, it 's not a Holiday Inn, it 's a historic building and if you 're looking for the best there is to offer and state of the art amenities, then go elsewhere. Again, if you love history and old charm then this will be the place for you. I love the old school doors, the fact that you still open it with a key, how deep the bathtubs are because they 're not made of cheap plastic like they are now, the molding on the walls and the black and white penny tile on the floors. If you take all of that out because it 's old then you no longer have The Arlington you have the same cookie cutter hotel you can find on every corner."
