"Tried two of the newer fancier bagel joints in Bed-Stuy. One didn't have plain or cinnamon raisin, another I waited 10 min on a line with 3 people then realized they were struggling under all the delivery orders.Then I hauled it over to Clinton Hill and Bergen Bagels. Old school bagel spot. Walked in, got a dozen bagels, great service, and walked out in 7 min. Bagels were also less expensive and just as tasty as the fancy spots."

"the place is very busy and seems to have a constant flow of people (we went around 2 on Friday. we have 4 bagel sandwiches. 2 sesame bagels one with cream cheese, one with white fish salad, 2ultihraom bagels, one with cream cheese and salmon, tomato, capern and one with sucker, egg, cheese, tomato, salat and wobble. eating was very good and quickly prepared all around. fresh ingredients. the one problem I saw is that these youngs move so fast that they don't always take care of themselves. my sandwich fell apart when he put it in the bag, but he still forced it. I had to reassemble some when I got it home. overall very good, but hastened, and the English understanding was not great."

"Lovely little coffe shop, small sized but cool interior. Had the hot chocolate with oat milk which was good but a little under sweetened. Definitely a popular spot and I have some friends who really like the coffee here. Worth a stop in. They also have a decent sized food menu of salads, smoothies, wraps and such. if you're looking for that along with your coffee."

"Oh my goodness, this restaurant has gone from being the best to the worst! I used to love their bagels, but the quality has really declined and I'm not sure why. The last few times I've been, the bagels just didn't taste as good as they used to. I thought maybe it was just my imagination. Today, I went in to buy a half dozen and didn't get a free one like the sign promised. Instead, I received what looked like half a dozen bialys. I'm really disappointed, so I'll be going back to Slims instead."

Plus we had lots of luggage so I stayed in the lobby of the apprtment we rented while my wife went to Bagel Belly, around the corner… because how could we leave NYC without having a bagel? ?I had to wait a very long time in that lobby because Estefania wasn’t coming back… She told me there wasn’t so many people but it took them such a long time to make 3 sandwiches!…?She also came back with 1 coke, not 2, or 3… she told me there was a lunch special. So I asked her why she didn’t come back with 3 cokes… it turns out she realized there was a lunch special with a free drink after being served and, by chance, one of the bagels she ordered was in the lunch special… but nobody told her that. She had to see the next person getting their free drink. It seems the clerk didn’t care enough to mention it… ?‍My bagel was a mixed pastrami and corned beef bagel. It was very good, very soft… of course, not as good as Katz’s pastrami, but still more than decent. "We were passing through and wanted seafood, so we stopped at Willie's. I had the tuna tacos and my husband had the Cajun pasta. We were both impressed. (And my husband is hard to impress). We even made a point to time our return trip home so that we could enjoy Willie's again. 2nd trip I had the seafood potato (pretty sure 3 people could feed on it and be full). Husband had the reddish dish. Both were so good. Thankfully we are homeward bound and have to-go boxes with our leftovers. Both of our visits were Saturdays in Dec. They were doing some sort of promotion with the Grinch, but our service was never interrupted. It was cute and their Grinch did a great job."

"We showed up around 2pm so the place wasn?t that packed. Sat down immediately and got served chips and drinks pretty quickly. I ordered the Buffalo crispy chicken salad and do NOT REGRET IT! "Sooo bad. Went there for lunch and ordered nachos for an app. It came out with literally a small drizzle of cheese, maybe a spoon full of hamburger. And everything else what was supposed to be included was just a Trace full. I asked very politely (which I HATE doing but needed to be done) for maybe just a little more toppings. I was looked at like I was being rude. Refused to add more toppings so I said ok. I'll just pay extra. I got wings and asked for them to be extra crispy. They were undercooked. My girl got the buffalo chicken tenders. They looked like they've been cooked and waiting to be served with barely any sauce on them. Plus they were extremely dry(because they were previously cooked I'm guessing) our onion rings were way undercooked. Our son's French fries were extremely soggy like they just dipped them in the fryer. My girlfriend had to walk to the bar to order water cause our waitress would not come check on us. And when she did she got a very unwelcome response from the bartender. Like it was my girlfriend's problem she had to ask for water. All the time it was very slow and not very many people ordering food. More than 60% of the tables were dirty and was very hard to find a table that was suitable. I could have got better service and food from McDonald's. I hate leaving this kind of review because I liked the location on 16th and south before they closed. Ownership should definitely address the daytime management and staff."
