Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!"

"I was a regular customer for last year or so. I will prefer this by saying that I only ordered pizza (both the special pizza and build your own) It is my 'go to' place for pizza, I usually 2-3 times a month. I find the pizza to EXCELLENT, one of the BEST in the Chicope range. I like the website for online ordering. Quality ingredients, good food, fair, competitive prices, simple online order eliminates the need to call and order. I notice fair sales at the front desk, but the staff is always polite. My only handle is the location (and parking lot) it is a multi-tenant stripe marble, and sometimes sucks the parking lot. Other than that, great pizza, enjoy!"

"I used to order from this place when it was called Penelope's so I decided to give Rony's a try. I ordered a large plain pizza for take out. That's it. A simple order. Got the pizza burned. Took it back inside to get my money back. Was offered another large plain that was already in another box, but I didn't want it. (How long has it been sitting there? Who knows, who cares The owner, I'm guessing, starts talking back to me when I simply stated I wanted my money back. Mind you, I was not being hostile at all. He just didn't want to waste money and throw out the pizza. Maybe don't burn the pizza for your customers next time. So get this, he said it was my fault and that I should've asked for a lightly cooked pizza. Really? You mean that I have to call and order a lightly cooked pizza every time because you don't know how to make pizzas? So, please tell me, who calls and orders a burned pizza? Instead of apologizing, he keeps running his mouth and tells me how he has lots of customers (yet his parking lot is empty). I feel sorry for the fools who order anything from this dirty pizza place. By the way, what do you think he did with the burned pizza he gave me after I returned it? Do you think he threw it out? Nope! He put it on top of his oven and will probably try to pass it off on the next customer. I wouldn't give Rony's pizza to a starving rat, it's that bad."

"First of all, the house dressing? UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. And I’ve never eaten anything from this place that wasn’t delicious (and I’ve been going for 10+ years). But I’m writing this review because of how well they handled my partner’s allergy. We often have problems when placing orders because we emphasize that he has an allergy to milk (not lactose intolerance, an actual allergy), and when we get they meal, 70% of the time they still gave us the milk/cheese. I wish I got her name, but the woman on the phone was so knowledgeable about the ingredients used and took so much care with double making sure with the cook in the back for what he used when we arrived to pick up the order. "Broadsheet diner is one of the good restaurant you can find in the neighborhood. The staffs were really friendly, welcoming and we did not have any problem to get a seat. The dining atmosphere was very good, which is also an important factor for food experience. Now regarding the food. The breakfast was OK in my opinion. If you?re looking for a quick hangout this will work out. I?m a lover of good American breakfast. For some reasons, I did not like their home fries (just me). They have variety of omelettes to choose from. Their sausage was too big and heavy. Our waitress said we?d be charged extra for wheat toast. Little surprised. Overall the restaurant is good to have one time meal. Vegetarian will have to customize your food. Not a lot of options."

"The food came out luke warm. Great flavor but not hot enough. They were busy so I will take that as a good reason. Our waitress wouldn't even get one star. Amy was rude. We were sat at a table that actually rocked back and forth when we asked if she could do something about it she told us she didn't know. Fair enough then go ask someone else what can be done...didn't happen. I asked another waitress and she offered us to move to the next table which we did. We were eating and the people in the booth next to us left. Silverware were put on the table before it was wiped. Amy came over with her cloth and wiped around the silverware. I told another worker and he recleaned the table. Amy asked if we wanted more drinks my husband and I answered no but our friends were thinking about it she didn't give them a chance to answer and said again DRINKS!! When we paid I complained to the young man and he said ya sometimes she is in a bad mood Well then (Karen) I mean Amy you should stay home and not take it out on paying customers. Ok done venting...usually our experiences here are good ones. However today Amy happened!!!"

"Their website suggested reservations and so we made them ... they were completely unnecessary. The restaurant wasn't really crowded, but they put us at a table near and extremely large party which meant we waited 10 15 minutes to have a server come over and take our drink order. I'm not sure if this is a post-pandemic thing or not but menus aren't provided, a broken tablet was shared, but for quicker service, it was suggested that we use our cell phones and scan the qr-code to see the menu and place our order. Admittedly, I am a little Tech challenged so needed help accessing their menu which was annoying. All ended well with an attentive server who got us a working tablet, a delish Chicago-style deep dish pizza and a shared hot fudge sundae. We will definately return for a taste of Chicago in Ann Arbor!"
