"Update: We've consistently had great food and service the handful of times we've come in. Try the: Monster Roll Shrimp Fried Rice General Tsaos Orange Chicken This was our 2nd time dining at Wasabi Bistro and we have been impressed both times. The food is great! I had the monster roll and it was very tasty and my husband had the general tsao's chicken, he said it was the perfect amount of spice and had very good flavor. We enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the look of the restaurant. The wait staff is attentive and service is quick."

"This Sushi restaurant in the Bronx is among the best in the city, with top-notch food, service, and prices. I visit at least once a month and have been doing so for almost 4 years. The raw plates are top quality, and the staff is always friendly and efficient, whether dining in or taking out. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese seating area in addition to regular tables and chairs. The food is reasonably priced, exceptionally high quality, and beautifully presented. Despite the inconvenience of having to take a cab to get there, I keep coming back for their delicious House special fried rice, Dragon Roll, California Roll, Zombie Roll, Spicy Kani Roll, and Chicken or Beef Teriyaki Bento Plates. This place is definitely worth the trip and ranks among the top 10 in the city."

"I had such a terrible experience here! I really wanted to enjoy it but I had such a bad time here. I came here 2 times before and really liked it but that was back in 2014 and 2015. Now the portions are a lot smaller and the dishes are so average and bland. When I went for my birthday dinner on Sunday afternoon, they were out of half of the items on their menu and I couldn't order almost any of the salads because they were out of spinach and sprouts as well as eggplant. I was so disappointed and definitely would've left if I could. I ended up having a really bad time here by wasting $30 on some other dishes and then going to another restaurant instead. I will definitely not return nor recommend this place to other friends."

"Small place on a side street that definitely produces delicious dishes. The ramen bowls are tasty, especially when spices are added to make it to your liking. The sushi rolls are very simple and basic...they seem to be something that you would have accompany your ramen or other main dish, not rolls you would have on their own as a main dish/dinner. The interior is nice, with community tables, solid bench chairs and well lit. The restroom is a rolling door near the back of the restaurant and it is quite amusing to watch people try to figure out how it works! Downsides of this restaurant include portion size for price paid and lack of sushi selection. It is recommended to order extra noodles on the side if you are getting ramen. Happy hour specials currently include $3 glasses of sake and $3 Orion beers. Lunch specials seem like they would be a good deal as well. All in all, a very good place to get a bite to eat!"
