"The experience was terrible. My friends and I were really excited to visit Tropicale after waiting for a long time. I had made a reservation over a month in advance for a group of six, which is quite challenging to arrange in Atlanta. We arrived at the restaurant at our scheduled time, only to find it completely closed. There was no one there, no lights on, no signs on the door—absolutely nothing. All six of us were dressed for the occasion and had made the effort to get there, only to find the place completely shut down. We tried calling and reaching out via Instagram, but there was no response. To make matters worse, I received an email and text confirmation 24 hours before our reservation, warning us that if we didn’t show up, my credit card would be charged $50 for each person as a no-show fee. We were adamant about arriving on time! It’s such a shame because this restaurant seemed like a really cool concept, but the complete disregard for customers' time and effort is extremely disappointing."
