"Last evening our UAB doctoral cohort, our families, and mentors, enjoyed a wonderful graduation celebration dinner in the Glass room. It was an incredible evening of food, fun and fellowship in a lovely setting. The room was well prepared, and the staff were incredibly attentive and meals for all were cooked to our requests, from appetizers through the main course and dessert. A variety of sushi, calamari, oysters, and shrimp was ordered and loved. The main course was wonderful as well (too many to list but the surf and turf was off the charts), and the desserts, especially the carrot cake cheesecake and the pecan pie cobbler were devoured. The wine drinkers in our group were also complimentary of the selection. All in all, a great experience and the staff were wonderful, from planning the evening through closing out the bill.
