"I set up a birthday party at the Jane Restaurant in Santa Barbara. The event coordinator, Meagan, gave a great guide with quick answers about all foods and setting up options. We had 21 people in a reserved room. The curtains to the room were retracted as we went to the top of the stairs, which is a surprise! What can I say it was a lot of fun! We chose one of the 3 course fixed meals that had three main course choices, and I received excellent comments on all foods. I was concerned about the service we were up there, but the staff did an excellent job, and I did not notice any delays. Not a big wine drinker, I had recommended her a good selection and they were all wonderful. Just a note about alcohol? Since it was Memorial Day Weekend to find a place, there was a little choir. This is a smaller restaurant with excellent food and service. They solved many of my problems with good advice during a time when I had difficulty getting many restaurants, even my calls back. I don't do many reviews, but this restaurant deserves all good words! I saw a very free note to the owners of Julia Childs! If you are interested in a very nice dinner for a group of up to 20 people, this is the place to try!"
