"The food at this restaurant was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was just right for a laid-back seafood spot. The only downside was that the portion size for the pan-seared scallops was a bit small. They were delicious, according to my wife, but a bit pricey for the serving size. Despite this, we would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan on returning next time we're in Port Orange."

"I wish I found this place earlier. Now that we finally found Richies, we order food once a week. There is no other place where my husband, my daughter and I all love. None of us had a bad meal and the service is excellent. The first time I went in to get my order, a woman suspected who I was, called me with name, led me into the register and got my order right away. The food quality and service is so good, I recommend you to skip the chains and come to this small, family-run gem."

"I was passing through town and happen to come across this place and it was fantastic! I got the California Chicken Sandwich and a side of fries and I had no complaints! The staff was super friendly, food came out quick, and the sandwich was tasty! My favorite were the fries, OMG did they cook them on point! They were so crispy and just perfect! Loved them! Overall I was very happy I passed by!"

"I used to like this place, but they changed their prices and created two bowl sizes. The large bowl now is what used to be the normal sized bowl, and they increased the price on that bowl by a few dollars. The new “small” bowl, is now the same price as what the large bowl used to be. This place is way too pricey for a small salad. Have fun spending $15-$17 on a salad that costs $3 in ingredients to make."

"Came here for dinner last week and enjoyed it. Diggers looks like an irish influenced sports pub. They are VERY Covid clean and smart keeping an eye on Social Distancing. I started off with the Onion Soup and it was excellent. My Bartender, Nick V, recommended the Steak Sandwich and he was right. it was really good. The beer was cold and all in all, really enjoyed my time here. I would highly recommend it."

"Catch of the day tacos and plain chicken tacos. The catch of the day is really good, but I'm a weakling when it comes to spicey, and that joker was ! Really good flavor though. My niece got the plain chicken taco pictured, but she wasn't impressed. The flavor of the chicken wasn't the best, but also there's not a whole lot you can do with plain chicken amd a tortilla. I'm giving only 4 stars because of that, and the wait in the drive-thru. Overall ot was good food and a good experience. I would recommend it for sure. A little pricy also, but you're the beach, so you gotta expect to pay a little more. Definitely better than Taco hell, Chipotle and Qdoba"

"I ordered jerk, fried chicken and jerk meat. were makkaroni and cheese, roasted plantain, rice, patties and cauliflower. Each dish was fantastic and delicious. the cabbage was perfectly cooked and seasoned. my mother is not a big fan of spicy eating, but she enjoyed her brewed bun, as it had a lot of taste without being too sharp for her. if they order from irie, make sure they get the makkaroni and cheese! it was the best makkaroni and cheese I ever had! heavenly and divine are the best varieties that can describe the meal I ordered here."

"I ordered the Vegan Bowl, a vegetable stew served with rice and plantains. I opted for takeout, so the picture may not do it justice as I transferred it into a bowl. My initial reaction was that it was very oily, as both the rice and stew were heavily infused with coconut oil. While it didn't taste bad, the excessive oil was a bit off-putting. Additionally, there were only a few slices of plantain included. Considering the dish costs around $17, I was disappointed that the majority of it consisted of plain white rice. Despite this, the portion was so generous that I had plenty of leftovers. I plan to mix in some extra steamed rice or potatoes to balance out the oiliness. I am intrigued by the other vegan options available and would be open to giving them a try in the future."

"I ordered a large oxtail through ubereats for $20. I received 1 medium oxtail and 4 tiny pieces of oxtail the size of pebbles. That is robbery especially when it's an online order and you know it's unlikely we would be able to return the food. 20 dollars for a plate of rice and 1 medium sized oxtail....so shameful will not be returning here. If it's just oxtail we're talking about you shouldn't be taking people's hard earned money in exchange for mediocrity....your response to my comment below is indicative of the quality of your establishment further proving what a disgrace you are."

"I am strictly going to judge it for the food for this visit. We had ordered Beef Caribbean Pate, Curry Chicken and Brown Stew Chicken. Unfortunately we did not get to try the curry chicken and both had the Brown Stew.As I said I am going to judge it by the meal we had. While we were hoping to try the curry chicken there was an issue with the batch they made and we ended up with the same meal for the two of us. The brown stew chicken was very tasty, I had it with rice and peas and my hubby had it with yellow rice, we both had plantains. No complaints about the meal it was very tasty, now wish we had been able to try the curry as well. But for that we will be back at a later time than close to opening as it is just a mother daughter team."
