"I was only here twice in the course of a year while I visited family in New Paltz. This is the only place where I had Jamaican food, so I have to compare it, but I enjoyed the food here very much. We have the rice and plantains. It's like a house cooked food. The restaurant was usually clean (and empty both times, but it does not seem much space for larger parties. Customer service was just okay. I didn't know what Ackee was, so I asked the server. He said it was a Jamaican fruit. I asked him how it was prepared (what spices? was it sweet? is it hot/cold?, etc. but I don't think he understood me because he just looked confused and said it's hard to explain. . I just selected another menu item, but I was frustrated because I would like to try new things in new restaurants. The prices are cheap and the food is delicious. Customer service is missing."
