"I've never been to Umaya before and I randomly chose to follow a visit to lacma. I was the only person in the restaurant after the lunch break (very late lunch for me). I was astonished at the amazing portion size (I ordered the salmon benton box) and each bite was delicious. not only for lunch, but for dinner, because it was so big. very much a value for the money. plus: I was introduced into unfiltered, sweet creamy sake, which I would never have tried before. I really enjoyed my lunch and a nice server pointed out that, as I read a book, there was a small table lamp I could use and she turned it on for me! yes I would recommend this place."
