"Brooks Original BBQ had just changed their name from Cool River Café, unbeknownst to us. There was no hostess to greet us or show us to our table and the first person we encountered was a bartender who told us the restaurant had changed names but didn't respond to us when we told him we had a reservation. Once seated, we sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to our table (we had to flag someone down). My friend and I both had a Cobb Salad which was very good, however, it came out without the chicken (as stated on the menu) or the corn bread side and we had to request both, which took an additional 15 minutes to get after our salads were delivered. It seemed like the restaurant was not ready to operate with the new menu and a manager was no where to be found. Not sure we'll go back. First impressions!!!"
