"I asked about a Manhattan listed on the menu, but was told they did not have the ingredients to make it as they had just changed their drink menu. I ended up ordering a beer instead. The menu had changed from what was listed online, with Messy Chips being substituted for fries. Our meals ended up being heavy on the fries, which was disappointing.
I ordered the Hot Chicken Sandwich/Knoxville Mild, which came with slaw, pickle, and pimento cheese. Unfortunately, my sandwich was lacking in these ingredients, with only a few shreds of slaw and a small amount of pimento cheese. The bun was too bready for my liking. Another member of our party ordered the tenders, which were large and a good value. If I were to return, I would opt for the tenders instead, as the sandwich did not meet my expectations.
Overall, FieryHen was just okay and did not stand out among the many chicken restaurants in Cincinnati. The limited menu options and disappointing execution of dishes left me feeling underwhelmed."
