"Decided to continue eating healthy into the new year and wanted a salad. My previous dining experiences and ordering salads from Dennis recalls nice proportional salads that were fresh. I decided to order the Cobb due to the assorted toppings (grape tomatoes, avocados, bacon, cheese, and eggs). I ordered mine with grilled chicken. I was not disappointed (unlike the chicken at Sage Cafe at Barona the previous night), the grilled chicken was hot and juicy, the avocado was amazingly fresh (like no oxidation at all) and cold, the cheese appeared to be freshly grated (not sticking together in clumps, as you would from a bag of shredded cheese), the hard boiled eggs was cooked perfectly, and the tiny grape tomatoes were juicy and had no bitterness. The place was understaffed, but Hugo was a great server, kept his cool, had a sense of humor, and really stayed on top of all the customers. He's a rare find. I highly recommend this Dennys for the food and the superior service from Hugo."
