"Located just south of the Avenue in Delray Beach is the mainstay La Cigale, which serves up a cross between various Mediterranean cuisines with focus on French and Italian flavors. The crowd, on one hand, made me feel quite youthful as we were the only ones not with gray on top I recollect, but managed to feel slightly out of place as well. Nonetheless, it was quite enjoyable as they had an older gentlemen singing hits by Sinatra and other classics along those lines. As for the menus there was nothing creative or out of the ordinary I would have liked to have seen so we opted for the grilled lamb chops were cooked rather well and flavorful. Nothing mind blowing, but worth getting. The chicken francese, pictured, was generous in portion, fresh and tender, rather enjoyable. Again, not the best I?ve had, but if I ended up here it would be a possible repeat. With a supremely friendly bartender that served us, it was a lovely meal."
