"Ordered meatloaf with red rice and asparagus. Up charge for asparagus, 5 little pieces for an extra charge? Red rice was inedible. Wife had a burger since she’s on a Keto diet. Let’s just say the menu isn’t very welcoming for that diet. The coleslaw had overpowering mayo taste. Tried to switch it to collard greens and that was upcharge too. Tried desert, $6 for half a slice of Oreo cheesecake. Ugh. Overall prices were way too high and food didn’t live up to taste expectations."

"On Valentine's Day, we had reservations at 7pm and arrived on time, but had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. After finally being seated, we waited another 30 minutes for our appetizers and an additional 15 minutes for our entrees. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran out of some food causing our dishes to be served cold and needing to be sent back. Despite the servers being gracious and apologetic, this was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in a while. It's a shame since our past experiences at this restaurant have always been positive."

"We waited forever to get our drinks, which were not the ones we originally ordered. Our soup and sandwich were served with a 10-minute gap between them, with the sandwich tasting quite good but the PoBoy having only 4 shrimps and 4 oysters for $12.95. The Okra gumbo was not up to par. Our waitress was pleasant, but it seemed like she was overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the food and service means we will not be returning."

"It took a long time to receive our drinks at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they were out of the first two we ordered. When we finally received our food, the sandwich arrived 10 minutes before the soup. The sandwich was delicious, but the PoBoy only had 4 shrimp and 4 oysters. We were charged $12.95 for the PoBoy and $6.95 for the sandwich. The okra gumbo was not tasty. Our waitress was friendly, but it seemed like she was overwhelmed. We don't believe the bad food and service were her fault. Overall, we were disappointed and do not plan on returning."
