"The bestest Indian restaurant I’d say compared to many others in major cities that I’ve tried so far. Even their mushroom soup tastes so damn good. If you’re visiting Chicago and have hard time finding a great Indian dining, think not and head to this place. Their shrimp curry was out of the world with the right amount of spices and perfectly cooked shrimp. I also vote the most for their Kotthu Parota. Just beware that the quantity of kotthu parota is good enough to be shared between 3. It is spicy as well if your taste buds are craving some Indian food don’t hesitate to grab one of this. Their chapati/roti are not made from scratch it was just a frozen one that was reheated and cooked I believe."

"the NE part of denver has not yet seen fully vegan or vegetarian restaurants and starved for places with vegan or vegetarian options. coriander is about everything you can find, but for the happiness it is a clean and attractive space with delicious Indian foods that includes several vegan options. To date, I had only the chana masala (a pea bowl with a rich spicy tomato sauce) with rice and a garlic calantro frog (this very large flatbread was perfectly chewing and slightly browned). her simple roti is also vegan like several other sweet and lentil dishes. I look forward to going back! it is suitable for a date night or just a quick lunch break."

"We ordered so many different items for 7 adults and 3 kids but unfortunately the quality/taste of the food is not up to the mark. Service was okay but probably not visiting again. Didn't bother to take photos but attached the receipt."

"We have visited Shanti several times and always enjoy our meals there. It is the best Indian food we have found in the area! The servers are typically very helpful in guiding us towards vegan options, and the portions are quite generous. We would highly recommend it!"

"excessively sharp. the host was too busy and did not seem to worry enough to ask how hot they eat like most places ask mild medium or hot and they just served it very hot. the host was not enough to find out what the customer wanted. had to go to research in the internet even though he was there. a disappointment for someone who likes Indian food. eating seemed to be prefabricated in 3 minutes probably something else not picked up while our other order lasted 15 to 20 minutes"

"that was our first Indian food experience in alabama since we moved here. we always have our stack-lovers we order when we are looking for Indians. our favorite and what will let us come back is chicken tikka masala, but this one had an overwhelming amount of swirling in it. We've never seen this before in this court, and unfortunately it was all we could taste. it was also incredibly sweet, and unfortunately just not pleasant. the saag distributor was simply ok, not much taste and we ended to season it yourself. naan was in order, quite normal. something new we tried was the gobi manchurian. that was really very tasty, but would recommend to order it only in the restaurant because it becomes soggy fast when they do not eat it fresh. not her fault, only a part of the saucy fried food when they pack it. for us that was not, and we will continue to search for our visit. but the restaurant is sweet and the workers are sweet. possible other dishes will be a better experience than what we had."

"I like the snacks here. Wonderful taste and reasonably priced. Variety of meats, chicken etc are of very good quality. The only issue with this store is that not all of the items have a price marker. You have to bring the item to billing in order to know the rates. Apart from that this is a very good store with good people managing the same."

"We enjoyed this restaurant for years, but sadly the quality has fallen off dramatically the last few orders. The lamb is now quite tough and chewy, and some of the other food tastes like it's well past expiration. Tonight it seemed like our whole meal had been sitting out for more than a day. The staff have been apologetic each time we mention it, but they nonetheless seem uninterested in doing anything to rectify the situation for us in practical terms. We'll be looking elsewhere from now on."

"A Fiery Feast at Absolute Barbecue!Upon a local friend's recommendation, we ventured to Absolute Barbecue, and boy, were we in for a treat! The restaurant immediately impressed us with its authenticity and quality, serving up a smorgasbord of Indian flavors that hit the mark every time. The variety of dishes catered to all palates, satisfying both vegetarians and meat lovers in our party. Each dish was a testament to the authentic Indian taste, balancing a medley of spices and flavors perfectly. But the charm of Absolute Barbecue wasn't just in its food. The service was remarkable, with a team that was not only friendly but also genuinely committed to providing a great experience. They consistently checked in on us, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of outstanding. In short, Absolute Barbecue is a shining gem with its authentic food and warm hospitality. It’s the kind of place that surprises and delights in equal measure a definite must visit for any food enthusiast."

We loved hosting our party in this hotel.Stage:Let me start with the stage in the hotel, it was great size and supported decoration very well.Food:We had received lots of compliments from friends and Family about food. We have selected the Gold package. It was awesomme, beyond excellence ?Venkat:Best part was working with Venkat. He stood by his word to provide the best quality food and best service. He made sure to refill the food as and when needed to serve the food hot. He was truly a blessing to work with.He was kind enough to help suggest the best foods that would go well with rice and Naan.I have added some pictures of our event as well."

"I made this reservation to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, we are British and wanted to reminisce the flavors of India. We have eaten Indian meals more times than I can remember and the portion control was so much more worth the price. You charge $24 for a bowl full of sauce with 5 small pieces of lamb served with a bowl of rice only. I have not had lamb for over 10 years and this was a disappointment. Our party was charged a 20% gratuity this was automatic even though we were paying separately, some people were parties of 2 or 3 but still the gratuity was applied. This visit was a big letdown and I will not revisit or recommend this restaurant."

"Start with the food, because that it what matters. Delicious, full stop. I started with Samosa Chaat thinking it was an appetizer. And maybe it would be for 3 or 4 people but it was a generous portion for one person so I only ate about half. Textures and flavors were terrific, just the right amount of heat. I can see why this is a popular street food. I followed that with Lamb Korma and garlic naan on the side. The gravy on this one was perfect, rich and almost sweet, and probably the best naan I've ever had. Dessert was Carrot Halwa. If you've never tried it this is a must-have dessert. My only complaint? The menus could be larger. I have good eyes but still jad some difficulty reading. I was the only done-in patron but the delivery pickups were nonstop. Service was maybe slow compared to US casual dining places but well worth the wait."

"There was this person standing outside the restaurant and was serving gol gappe. Boy I was surprised to see a person literally serving u gol gappe. Saw this only once in US in New Jersey before. The price was $10 for 8 pieces but it was worth it. Asked him for a good place to eat lunch and he recommended the place he was standing in front of( as expected). Went in and ordered chole bhature and aalo tikki chaat.Chole bhature were good but aalo tikki was dry. It had loads of chutney and yoghurt but still felt dry on the palate.5 stars for the gol gappe but not more than 3 for the food served inside.Host was very friendly and I liked the way he treated the customers.Maybe next time , we would try more dishes and get better taste."

"I had a great experience at Deccan Spice. My wife and I brought a vegetarian friend who enjoys Indian cuisine. It was the first time there for all of us and we were all impressed by taste, size of portions and menu options. It took a surprisingly long time for someone to come to us after we first sit, so we didn't have any water or nothing as we searched the menu. I ordered starters, but at the same time as our entrees, because the service was initially slow. It was also difficult at the end of our meal to get the bill and pay. I finally went to the counter to get the attention. That means I'll like to return to Deccan Spice because the food was brilliant and our server was pleasant."
