"I generally do not complain, but feel I must share our Very disappointing experience at the Herb Box last weekend. We eat here often both pre and post pandemic, but we won’t be going back. While the restaurant was empty, we were seated in the back room at a table for 4, when we were 5. This was the second table offered, while the first was a high top that would have required one of our party to sit outside the door while the table was inside. The table we sat in was Very cramped. We were told the larger tables were all reserved, yet no one sat at any of them the entire time we were there. Drinks were made incorrectly, sent back twice at which point the bartender came to the table and very aggressively spoke to us made for a very uncomfortable situation. She was beyond rude towards us. Followed by learning they were out of the entree one of our party had ordered, and then the appetizers were missing some of the sauces that make them so tasty (definitely not up to past quality). Entrees were all very good, but by that point we were all very disappointed in how the night had gone."
