"I grew up in a fighting family. I started to teach karate in the age of 13 years in Japanese. I took care of japan. I would like to visit japan again. one of the most challenging things that travel in japan was the speech. there are western comforts as in the west, but followed happy cow in japan to get some amazing vegan meals, as they don't think yelp was in japan when I was there. enter them Cha-Ya! cha. ya could be my new favorite restaurant in san francisco. a few years ago when I lived in the east bay, went to Cha-Ya there today in the mission went to lunch here. I went with the cha ya delight seasoned brown rice bowl. it comes with carrots, kombucha pumpkin, brokkoli, lotus root, flower cabbage, shijitake mushrooms, zucchini, atsuage tofu, hijiki seaweed, yamamoto, shinzo and ingwer. the ingredients are fresh, well presented and found the plate nourishing. it was healthy and came with a miso suppe. the kitchen is based on traditional Japanese cooking popular in Buddhist centers in japan I found and remembered. so they can find the eating a bit of bland, but no care can they easily add a little soy sauce and chili powder as I did to it a bit more taste. vegan, vegetarian and vegetable forward is the wave of the future now. I have been vegan for 22 years and have seen the development of the movement. Many almost food restaurants now offer beyond meat and impossible burger, but it is refreshing to find places like Cha-Ya that offer healthy and healthy traditional cuisine. for a trip to japan in san francisco they come here. I am happy to come back with friends to explore more about the menu that includes various sushi, nudelsuppen, tempoura and traditional salads that would be good to order family style. Thanks Cha-ya! arigato. I look forward to coming back soon."
