"The food choices were not familiar to us but the staff was very helpful and recommended some excellent choices. The lamb tibs were excellent. The staff explained the traditional way to eat as well as the ingredients and way of cooking. I wish we had additional time to stay and enjoy the coffee but we had something scheduled too close to stay late for the fellowship"

"Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh! Very authentic Ethiopian food that is delicious every time! Great atmosphere, very comfortable. Perfect place to come with groups, or just to try something new on your own! This place is very affordable and is a great opportunity to try a different kind of food than typically had in Raleigh. I love Abyssinia!"
