"Celebrating the birthdays of my wife and dear friend and unfortunately turned out to be unsatisfactory experience for one of the birthday girls. Her entree came out under and was sent back while the rest of us finished our entrees. When the refire came back to the table it was not just under, it was raw. On top of that, as we waited for the entree to come out for a second time, we were informed that they were out of the desert that was ordered at the beginning of the evening. From there it just got comical. She ordered the same desert the other three of us did and when it came out to the table the portion was less than half what the other three of us received. As other diners had festive sparkler celebrations at their tables our birthday girls received no such treatment. The meals were good but not what was expected based on previous visits. Don’t plan on returning anytime soon"

"We have eaten here several times over the years and this visit everyone was very enthusiastic and our server was great but food taste and offering was not special. There wasn’t one thing that was so good it would be memorable enough for me to say I can’t wait to come back. Also a few of the dishes were to heavy on the sauces that really didn’t enhance the food. I had the arugula salad with strawberries that were hard and not ripe enough to taste like strawberries and the dressing really had no distinct flavor and neither did the arugula which definitely should have flavor and was wilted. My Bronzino was heavy on the bÃarnaise sauce that was just ok. To me not a great choice for the fish as it was all you tasted, the fish flavor did not come through. Overall this is a nice restaurant but being a bit tough because I have certain expectations from a Ford Fry restaurant. But it is not at the top of my choice of restaurants and was the case with this visit as many other restaurants were booked so we chose what was available (my husband said the burger was very good, but don’t think good enough to come for dinner just for that)"

"We were there for Valentine’s Day our reservation was from 8:15pm. The food is good is not something to die for, but it was good. The people were really kind and helpful but everything finish there. I think our server forgot about us.. we were waiting forever for every single meal it doesn’t matter what was it.. we got our appetizers before our bread with butter. When I ask for the bread he was like “Ohh you never got it?” Like he is not our server.. he supposed to know.. 30 min After us, two more couples came.They got their meals before us.. When we order our steaks I order mine Medium, my boyfriend order his Medium-Well after 45 min waiting for our steaks My boyfriend got his Rare and we switched them because he can’t eat rare meat and on the top of everything they were ice cold.. Our server took them again to preheat them and it took us 10 more min of waiting.. After two and half hours of our reservation time we just got our main meal and we order our desserts for take out because we knew that will take forever.. I order for myself cheesecake with berries and when I opened the box at home I was really disappointed my cheesecake was exactly like someone just trow it in this box .. everything was messy.. Overall not worth it the money even if the food is good not worth it to wait 3 and maybe more hours for one dinner.."

"Started with three different appetizers to share: oysters on the half shell were large and delicious; calamari was very tasty plus pesto and sauce for dipping; gnocchi with sauce was delightful. Delicious bread ribbons with dipping sauce was yummy. Main course which we sampled each other’s: spinach salad with salmon was excellent as was the spinach salad with steak. Beef stroganoff was the best. Can’t wait to go back and try other goodies or maybe go for brunch."

"I loved this place so much! I would recommend that to my friends. the sushi selection was so great and the addition of suppen and other entrees was an additional bonus. I was also really impressed by the warm love, it was much better than other sushi places. my only complicity was that the space between the tables was really tight and the waiter kept in our table. we had to move things around to make sure our food is not thrown on us. if that were fixed, it would be my new favorite place. I'll go again, but I'll ask for a table on the back."

"The last time I visited was for their new Sunday brunch, and I was disappointed. The limited menu was bland, greasy, and grossly overpriced at around $18 per person. Additionally, there were some issues with the bill, including double charges for soft drinks and inconsistent sales tax. With Barley’s Brewhaus next door and plenty of other dining options nearby, there’s really no reason to return to this outdated establishment."

"We loved this restaurant until yesterday. I made a reservation for my wife's birthday and it did not go well from the time we arrived. The hostess was unfriendly and copped an attitude when we requested a different booth from the she lead us to when we arrived. We ordered drinks and a shrimp cocktail both were excellent. We both ordered the 1/2 chicken vesuvio with salads. The salads and salad dressing (ranch) were great. Both chicken dishes were under cooked to the point you could see red when separating the leg from the thigh. The breast was also under cooked and tasted funny. The vesuvio potatoes were very good. We sent back both dinners to be cooked again. When the food came back it tasted worse so we told our server there was no way we were going to eat this food. She asked if we wanted to order something else, but at this point we lost our appetite. We did eat most of the vesuvio potatoes as they were good and then ordered a brandy ice dessert with was also very good. They did not charge us for the chicken dinners nor should they, but it was disappointing that the manager didn't address the situation in person and offer some comments. Also in my reservation I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, but no one made any mention of it. To summarize the hostess doesn't know how to properly execute her job and the chef on duty doesn't know how to cook chicken. Our server was attentive and was as helpful as possible. She was our advocate when returning the food, a job that should have been completed by the manager. It will be a while before we return to give it another try."

"Henry T's is my personal favorite place to eat! The food is a good price and the service is good. I am a picky eater and I've tried a lot of stuff on the menu and haven't had anything I didn't like yet. Kid meals are a good price also! Daily specials are awesome! My only complaint is that you can't get the specials to go. We freuquent Henry T's and know that half priced burgers are the special on Monday's. My family had the flu so I called in and order to pick up and was shocked when I got there and my ticket was twice as much as I had expected just because I wasn't going to eat there?"

"GO HERE. We’ve been going to Stock Hill for years, and I’ve never left disappointed. One of the best restaurants in Kansas City. We went last night for drinks, and the current staff is one of the best I’ve seen so far at Stock Hill. Justin’s (the bartender) hospitality and skills were unmatched and welcomed us kindly, even though we only had a short time left before they closed. My husband already wants to go back next weekend and request him, because the drinks and vibes were so good. Rachel (the bartender) made me an amazing London Mule and really tried hard for me to find a cocktail I wanted, since they were out of the Get Swifty (which I highly recommend). Love love love this place and will be a frequent customer. "
