"Have ordered take-out and delivery from Star India on a couple of occasions and each time the food was great. I unfortunately had a bad experience with the service the *one* time I dined in at Star India. After receiving our check, my group and I noticed that we were accidentally charged for one extra item that we did not order. We made our waiter aware of this, but he insisted we got two. We attempted to clarify the situation, but they continued to refuse to adjust our check. The waiter eventually brought us his personal cell phone and told us that the manager wanted to speak with us. This was extremely aggressive and made our entire group feel very uncomfortable. After being forced to speak to the manager , we were able to get the item removed from our check, but it should not have resorted to that.I will not be dining at Star India anymore."

"Gagan Palace has been one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Stratford/Voorhees, NJ area for many years. Shame on me for raving about it before now! When I dined inside, the service was always great and everyone was friendly, and courteous and made sure that you had a great dining experience. That said, the food here is very authentic. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Shrimp (or Chicken) Saag (made with curried spinach), Biryani and Meat Samosas are my go-to dishes. Always fresh and well seasoned. I used Grub Hub for delivery today and glad that I did! Gagan Palace is tucked away in a shopping plaza in Stratford directly across from the PATCO High-Speed Line on one side and along a fast-moving White Horse Pike (Route 30) on the other side. If you blink you might miss it...so sloow down so you can enjoy some really great Indian food!!"

"The ambience of this restaurant was very nice. The food was very bad. We ordered biryani and it tasted so pathetic. The quantity of food served for the price is also less. We tried plenty of dishes and nothing met expectations. Other than ambience, nothing was great. Bread items (roti, naan) were good. I would definitely not recommend this place. When we gave feedback to the employee, he wasn't even paying attention and not willing to accept it. Instead he was focused on attending to other customers."

"when do we get a great Indian restaurant in fort lauderdale? the service was good, not great. more than half of the vegetables were frozen. I asked about chilies or hot chutney, on the side and they bought me jalapeños and siracha. sugar was added to any dish we ordered. it was all disappointing. all fish are tilapia that is not mentioned in the menu. not good."

"I would avoid this place. The food is pretty bad. My husband and I ordered Biryani, Samosa, Mango Lassi and Butter Chicken Masala.Couldn’t finish any dish and had to dump more than half of it. Chicken tasted like I am eating something gone bad, there were small pieces of bones coming in every bite. I hope we don’t get stomach infections after this. Probably their food is not fresh. Biryani didn’t have any flavours and samosa was so dripping oil. Only saving grace was Mango lassi. But all in all, definitely not worth your money."

"I recently dined at indian sizzler and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. I ordered their supposedly famous biryani, only to be met with the worst culinary experience of my life. The biryani was not only bland, but it also tasted as though it had been cooked in a rush with little regard for flavor or quality. The rice was overcooked and mushy, while the meat was tough and lacking in any discernible seasoning. To make matters worse, within minutes of finishing my meal, I began to feel nauseous. Two hours later, I was still battling a bout of nausea that left me regretting ever setting foot in indian sizzler.Overall, my experience at indian sizzler was a complete disaster. I can confidently say that I will not be returning anytime soon. Save your time and money, and steer clear of this culinary catastrophe."

"Lotus is one of my top 3 San Rafael restaurants and everyone's favorite. One of the best restaurants in Marin County. Please note the free PARKING LOT (at 805 5th Ave) at the rear entrance through the Indian grocery store. We have dined here to the lunch buffet (all you can eat) and the selection was excellent. Chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobi, 3 types of Pakoras, 2 types of curry dishes, Tandoori Chicken and even fresh Papadum offered. Many dishes were gluten-free. The lunch buffet ends at 2 o'clock. We came too late at 1:10, but we had a lot of food to try, and the host even brought us a basket of freshly baked naan for our table to the end. The amount of selection and selection we had for the lunch buffet I felt it was so much. I am always so impressed by the level of all employees? Attention whenever we're here. There were 3-4 waiters always checking tables to fill the water glasses (as we can drink more water, enjoy the seasoned food) and clean all finished dishes immediately. 20 car parking is on the back and I think Lotus is the one and only restaurant in San Rafael Downtown with own parking. A few months ago we sat on the new curb-side dining area. And it was quite convenient to be served there from the 4th street without feeling on anyone. Large terrace umbrellas also kept us cool. The owner, Pal, was a miracle for the guests whenever he is there and always remember the familiar faces and stop saying hello to any table."

"My family was traveling through the area and was in the mood for Indian. Tandoor is hands down the best Indian food I have ever eaten possibly among the top meals I've ever had. I walked in and placed a to go order. The restaurant said 20 minutes and beat their time by more than half. They customize the seasoning to your desired spice level. Try the garlic naan, chicken Tikka masala and chicken makhani. Unbelievable. I went back to the restaurant just to say thank you."
