"Love the food, but it was definitely overpriced for what it is, due to the set menu for NYE. the only options were $150 (for 2 for just food, not including drink) or $175 which we did for the lobster for my husband. Plus $10 tiny bottle of champagne, plus $30 tip adding up to over $215 for one dinner, where our server didn’t give us water for a good 20 minutes."

"A great experience! I was extremely pleased to have a dinner in which I didn't feel rushed to get the next customer seated. The food was prepared professionally. Being it was our first experience, we were treated wonderfully and had everything explained. It's someplace I highly recommend that everyone try at least once. For us, we will be back again! We had the 4 course meal and by far our favorite was the shrimp and lobster cooked in the mojo seasoning. I'm sure my wife would argue a little and say it was the white chocolate fondue with Heath bar melted in it."

"Good dining experience. Gary the server was friendly, prompt and responsive. Atmosphere was lively, with a musical duo entertaining. Food was average to good. Cheeseburger was overcooked, but flavorful. French fries great. Southern style meat loaf with BBQ ketchup, green beans, and smashed potatoes was pretty good. Drinks were mixed well. We like this menu and food is typically very good. Service was excellent and the server’s personality was outstanding. We’ll be back."

"We had never been to the LaSalle Grill but visited after a college trip to Notre Dame. What a great experience. The staff were uniformly warm and attentive and our server Mitchell talked to our son about all of the great things going on in South Bend. The bartender makes a fantastic old fashioned and we all loved our filet. They were unfortunately out of the elk dish so we definitely have to try that next time. Whether you are local or just visiting like we were South Bend is definitely a better dining scene because of LaSalle Grill."
