"I was disappointed with the service and quality at this Smoothie King franchise. I hope the management will take note and improve their quality control. I will be driving the extra 5 miles to the next location from now on. After receiving a generic response from the owner to my email, I felt the need to share my experience. I visit Smoothie King almost daily, usually going to the location on Lockwood and University. However, on Saturday, I visited a different location. I ordered 4 smoothies for $23 and change, including 3 choca cura and 1 coffee high protein with a pure recharge add-on. As we were leaving, my children noticed that the texture of the smoothies was strange, with the bottom half being watery and the top half resembling flavored ice. The taste was terrible, and it seemed like an important ingredient was missing. Upon checking my own smoothie 45 minutes later, I realized there was no pure recharge added as I had paid for. It's concerning that customers who add supplements to their smoothies may not be receiving what they paid for. I will stick to visiting the Lockwood and University location, which I highly recommend to others as well. The staff at the problematic location were friendly, but it seems like more training and quality control inspections are needed."
