"Sadness: neither I nor my family will be going back here. Once one of my favorite Thai places, I don 't know what happened... but it 's negative. At my final visit, the Thai tea ice cream was only available for $5 for 3 ounces, in a pre packed container. This differs from the soft serve version in that that 's $3 for 4 ounces. When eaten, it had an awful gummy texture that I can 't quite describe but, well, my kid cried because I had to throw it away. Then, the rice was browned... the steamed rice. I get it, sometimes there 's fond created in the cooking vessel, but this was a LOT of brown. Finally, the curry. I was planning on sharing this meal with my young kid. I ordered it not spicy at all because I 'm sharing it with (my kid) when I ordered. I then asked for spicy oil on the side because I like pretty spicy food. Unpacked, no oil in the bag and the curry is so spicy it 's enjoyable for me but utterly useless as food for my kid. My mother opined that it was at least a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. I think it 's closer to 5 but, you know, it was certainly spicy. Also, surprise! I can 't eat half the vegetables in the curry which were NOT labeled as being in the dish on the menu. And now we get to why this was my final visit. Everyone has bad days and the restaurant industry is tough... I was going to ask for a partial refund. I called and got to partially explain (I only got through the issue with the curry) when the person with whom I was speaking asked me if I 'd ever had curry before, after telling me first that they didn 't add any spice then saying green curry is just spicier. Insulting and shady answers in the same, brief conversation? No, please. There are other, better places to get Thai food."
