"Lovely seating in front of the large “Main Street” window, nice music in the background, warm lighting for a romantic date-night, cheerful server! Unfortunately, the food-fails ruined our milestone celebration date. The crab-corn chowder was flavorful…but served at nearly room-temperature (I didn’t complain though, in anticipation of the entree…I figured it was a fluke). My spouse’s mozzarella sticks were not melted at all…they were “warm” and solid…no melt. My salmon arrived looking delicious, but unfortunately the entire inside was cool and gelatinous…dark, unflaky, uncooked. I sent it back and did not want a replacement item after the cool soup, lukewarm mozzarella, and gelatinous salmon…just lost my trust in the chef/food safety aspect. My spouse’s chicken cordon-bleu was very, very hot though, so at least there’s that. Our first trip to Nina’s was about a year ago and it was absolutely delightful/delicious (I had salmon then, too). Not sure what happened last night, but our celebration felt ruined. We won’t be returning. Three cheers for our kind, courteous server though. She was really nice."
