"First time here. Had a great experience. Interesting food and desserts. I had the Thanksgiving Plat. It was good. New with string beans n mushroom sauce covering the turkey. The staff were friendly. Especially the nice old lady/ Stewart. She's a lifer worker. A very nice person to talk to. I'm bad with names, but thank you for the talk. She kept the place clean n in order. Never got a chance to chk the John. But if she was on it to clean it . It must be spotless. I recommend the mushroom soup. I recommend this place."

"EDIT 2: Went back again using the gift cards the manager sent following my original post. Many things were improved from the first visit: the food was ready quickly even though I ordered in store; the serving size for the chicken la madeleine was larger, but still smaller than you get in store (it 's possible they 've changed portion sizes on this); and the food was generally better (potato soup was good). On the downside, the chicken la madeleine was just OK, and the side of green beans were close to inedible. I 'm giving this a final rating of three stars because the food is okay and it 's priced well, and the service was better. It 's also nice that the manager cared enough to reach out and send gift cards. EDIT: Added a star. Manager reached out to apologize and offer gift cards to give this location another try, which I will do and update here. ORIGINAL: This location seems to have gone downhill so fast that it could have medaled in the Winter Olympics. I used to eat at this location all the time. Today I picked up dinner for my family for the first time in a while from this location. We had a number of problems. The first was that my 15-20 minute wait turned into 50 even though there was maybe one other customer when I got there. I ordered the chicken la madeleine, which I used to always get. This time, the serving size for the entree was about 1/4 the size as it used to be (see photo). It was also cold and tasted about half as good as it used to. This was a full price dinner combo. They also failed to sub the broccoli for mashed potatoes. My wife’s potato soup was also not good, and it used to be very good. It looks like most of the recent reviews agree, one-star. Avoid this place."

"My special order was forgotten under the entire party of other orders, but it was understandable because of the heavy burden of customers in the store. The food was good and the staff was helpful. It would be nice for this chain to somehow integrate a sound reduction system or a larger device, to separate tables into a quieter dining experience."

"we were at the airport dallas love on our next flight when we decided to get a coffee. the next was dunkin donuts where they immediately said, no we have no crash more we went a little further and found la madelaine that we noticed was ready to close. we asked Jason the participant if he had a decaf and he said no, but he would burn fresh. in the meantime we ordered some baked and enjoyed them thoroughly with our decaf coffee. we were impressed by jason's attitude. service about expectation and with a smile! and while you take care of the last minute details of closing the caffe! away, jason to go! we need more people like them in the service industry!"

"It was okay, nothing bad. My partner and I both loved the atmosphere and the decor, and the staff was not mean or something. The food was fine, even though we had a few Nitpicks. My crepe was very muddy, and the croissant was served cold, which is strange, as normally they seem to be heated at least by default in other places. My partner thought that his Croque Monsieur (Forgive me if I misspelled that) was just fine and expected it to be creamier. I loved the coffee and my hard boiled eggs were made very good. The laying and presentation was also beautiful. Apart from that, we were really not too impressed by food and are not too inclined to go back soon. We also did not know that we had to go right instead of waiting to sit, confusing us first, as there was no indication of what to do. Overall, my first impression is that it is a restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and average food. It is not a bad place to go at all, but probably more improvements and small changes could be even better than it is currently."

"Above and beyond! Chawky (the GM and his team were magnificent! I was there to pick up a very large catering order. While I was packing the lunches I overheard Chawky, the GM, helping a woman and her son who accidentally came to the wrong location for their To-Go pick up. His team made their order right on the spot. They offered me a complimentary beverage while I was waiting on my sizable order of almost 40 lunches. Absolute grace and kindness. "I used to love La Madeleine but this visit was disappointing. Not sure if it's this way at all locations now but this location doesn't have the Duet Magnifique on the menu (half sandwich plus cup of soup or side salad), although you can still order these items separately, so not a big deal. I ordered a half chicken salad croissant sandwich (no tomato), side of Caesar salad and cup of potato soup. When I ordered they were out of the complimentary bread and said it would be a while before they had more. When I received my meal it had the wrong sandwich but they quickly made it right with no fuss, although it had tomato on it and the croissant bread was a little over cooked. The potato soup has changed and is now very runny with puréed potato instead of potato chunks and it's definitely not as good as it used to be I wouldn't order it again. When I was almost finished with my meal I went back to see if they had any of the complimentary bread yet and they still didn't so I never got any. From the other reviews it seems that's the norm now. The employee who I asked twice about the bread (when ordering and again when I finished my meal) wasn't rude but didn't seem to care nor apologize that they were out of bread. Anyway, I won't be back for a while and if I decide to go to a La Madeleine again it likely won't be this location."

"we came back to the city last ostar and we stopped after a long trip to relax and have a nice bite. it rained and in the middle of the run tried not to get wet, I forgot my mask. I sent my son back to the car to get my mask, and one of the hired cried out from behind that I couldn't be in without a mask. I've honestly explained that it's raining, and I just forgot it and my little boy ran out to get it. She immediately said she'd call the police if I didn't leave. I thought she was joking as we were literally the only customers in it and she was 30 feet away from me and poured it out with thunder. she was obviously not when she started for the phone. lady, use a healthy sense. we have gone, and I am not back, and I will not go back after the little unknown ceremonies. I was so incredibly angry that she would rather stand in the pouring rain, instead of right in the door with no one, even in the restaurant, while she was behind a plate of bulletproof glass that wore a mask herself. I let many things go during the pandemic regarding hospitality and customer service, but this experience is the one I have never forgotten."

"Late breakfast, i desired a different dining experience, la Madeleine was today choice. Amazingly brick building with arched entrance, opened door, to a warm, invitingly fireplace a blazed, dark dining room seating and tables, European feel, spacious and natural light, Delicious desserts in a display case, I want one of each, purchased 3 heart shaped cookies. Shelves held jarred foods to be added, home cooking. Ala carte, choices of crispy salads, various soups, all day breakfast, fountain drinks, juices, milk and sparkling water. I ordered a breakfast sandwich at the register, egg, bacon, cheese on warm croissant. First bite was marvelously light, not a heavy meal, I enjoyed immensely. Delighted, I have discovered a new pleasing dining experience with planning many returns."

"Had the most confusing interaction with the cashier today. Soda machine’s CO2 was broken, so I asked for a water cup. Lady yells at me and refuses to give me a water cup telling me the machine was broken. I told her I only wanted water which was not affected. Manager finally gives me the water cup and allows me to get water. Ordered a green salad with my sandwich; got a Caesar salad instead. When asked if this was a green salad, the person bringing it out insisted it was a green salad not a Caesar salad. The food is fine(if they get it right) but the service is pretty awful. Even the manager seemed unwilling to help. Don’t plan on coming back anytime soon until management wises up and fixes the service problems."

"I ordered two chicken Cesar sandwiches and mine came out perfect but my boyfriend’s was missing chicken. He didn’t even notice it, though. A couple minutes later an employee comes out and asks if it was missing chicken. My boyfriend is not the type to return food as he dislikes being wasteful so he thanked them for their concern but declined the free replacement they offered. Nonetheless, they still gave us a free dessert, a free entire baguette, and another free chicken Cesar sandwich without us asking. The customer service here is great and the food was just as amazing."

"I love this place. For some reason, the young lady doesn't have a good day. She took my order with an icy mind that it was not busy, had not to order around me. Then she has a face I can't describe. She didn't give me my prescription because she ran away. I don't know. I didn't even realize I left. When I called for my order, I asked her if you put butter and jelly in your pocket. It's a real breakfast. She has nothing day and went on her back to get what I asked. So, what I understand, she didn't have one in her to take order. I said thank you and she just turned around. I've never experienced such a bad service. Like I said, maybe it wasn't her day. She should stay home?"

"I was impressed with the trio sampler, which was very filling, and I appreciated that they make the salad fresh to order. The portions of chicken salad were generous, and the toppings on my spinach salad were delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and even bringing out freshly made mango tea when it ran out.
