"I got to try this gem of a restaurant after my colleagues recommended it for lunch. It’s a quick walk in the square to get here. I immediately was submerged into a Texas version of a hallmark movie! So nostalgic! There’s daily specials or you can choose from the menu and THERE’S PIE!! Get the pie! Most of us had the meatloaf and it was moist and tasty! Green beans and cornbread were great sides. I really enjoyed the chocolate cake and coconut cream pie. I would have preferred it a little sweeter but if semi sweet is your jam then you’ve found your tribe! A great local business with Texas charm! And there’s boozy ice cream that I must try when I return!"
