"We had a really good time here but I don’t think the food is anything memorable. It’s good, but not fantastic. We were three people and ordered the menu for 2 that comes with ribs, chicken, brisket and pork. It’s a huge portion and even though we were three we were not able to finish it. They also let you customize it to your taste if there are any sides or meats that you would not like. The value is fantastic and our server was terrific! No complains, but I have had better bbq in other places."

"My comment is regarding Open Table. The system showed they were full most of the evening. In reality there were very few people there. The host looked when I mentioned it and saw that the time slots showed booked (but were not). I would guess the restaurant missed out on significant business because of this."

"There was no hostess at the front door as we entered. We waited a minute. Then I went to the bar. No one there. Then walked into the dining area and found a waitress that evidently was working waitress and hostess. Kinda ridiculous I had to go find someone to be seated. The food was decent except the meats were a little overcooked and the corn was gross. Was mushy and tasted like it was sitting in hot water for 10 hours. Definitely not fresh and EXTREMELY overcooked. As much as I love corn, it was trash. Threw it away."

"They were not able to view Open Table reservation, but did honor it and seated us after only a short wait. However, taking our order, waiting for food, waiting for a tray for leftovers, waiting for bill all took minutes and multiple requests. Finally left cash and left as no one came back to table. Dropped bill and left so fast I was unable to pay with card. Tried to pay at register, but was refused and told to wait at table for waitress who never came back. Different servers would check but not come back. Food was barely warm. This was supposed to be a special annual meal with my daughter. It was stressful and disappointing. Service and food last year were better and it was busier last year. I felt bad because people waiting could've been seated much sooner if service had been better."

"We had the sampler app. and the feast. Everything was delicious and we even had some left over to take home. There were seven of us there that night and we had the best service ever. "first, when we were there, they did not have our reservation, although I did it on the line and then called to confirm. So we had to wait half an hour for a table. then we ordered drinks and waited another half an hour before our waitress came back for appetizers. so we ordered our meals at the same time. we got our appetizers, but waited an hour 15 for our food. guess what we were past hunger and eating was so because we had to wait so long, they offered free desserts. only one was good and that was the brownie. apfel crispy sucked and so did the banana pudding. we enjoyed our time together, but never went back whole deal sucked."

"We recently dined at Famous Dave's during the first week of restaurants being allowed to open at 50% capacity. The management took advantage of the closure to remodel the restaurant, adding more comfortable booths. The entry and ordering area has been redesigned with social distancing in mind. All staff are wearing masks and we observed frequent cleaning throughout our visit. Silverware, napkins, and packaged wipes are provided in a plastic wrapping for added safety. The food was delicious and served hot, leaving us feeling reassured about dining out with these safety measures in place. While we have also been getting takeout during Covid, we appreciate Famous Dave's for setting high standards and hope they continue to uphold them. Thank you for a great dining experience."

"we had reservations for our party of 6 and when we arrived on time, we were told that they had no table for us and that we had to wait up to 90 minutes. I spoke to a manager and expressed my disappointment about her attitude. I proposed they should have been prepared for our future. the manager said that she would cover up for someone else and acknowledged that the employees at the front end did not treat our reservation appropriately. I asked if they could put together two 4-ups and put us in place? I pointed out that when we arrived, they had actually provided two 4-tops, but the staff at the front end sat in these tables and told us to wait up to 90 minutes. the manager said she would work. about 40 minutes we sat. After we set ourselves, it took almost another 15 minutes until a server approached us. When the food arrived, the mais was cool and the meat was hardly warm and they didn't get the food out for one of our parties. so they had to take his command again. so he ate his food after the rest of us was done. they finished eating. I would have to say that this was not a good experience. I will not return. for $90 plus tipp was not worth it."

"The whole was very different from the other Famous Dave's location. I didn't like you to have to go order, then wait until you were served. If you have small children, you must actually leave them to order from a take-out menu, people were everywhere. You couldn't tell who the dune was with guests from the trainers. We were a party of 9 so that this place was very small that you almost felt like sardines in a can, but I could not understand why a reservation was proposed until we came there and saw why, plus they bring those big plates that were almost as big as the tables. This place must be seriously rebuilt. The food was as always spectacular and the staff also."

"I and my wife and daughter had a reservation at this point at 7:45. We sat at 7:50. We knew what we wanted so we could order our food immediately and two alcoholic drinks. 25 minutes pass and at 8:15 the only thing we had on the table was 3 water. No one was back to check us out and we didn't even get our drinks. There was something overcrowded, but not at the point where it should have been overwhelming for the employees. Now it's 8:30 and still not drinks or something. The table we sit on had a clear look at the kitchen area and my wife watched a girl who was a server came from outside to the ground and then go into the microwave and opened it and touched some corn with their bare hands to make sure it was hot and then went to serve it to a table. At this point we were fed and asked to speak with a manager to express our concerns. Another server comes to the table that said that the manager was busy, but she would be over if she could, so we expressed our concerns to her and she said she would tell the manager and check our foods and drinks personally.(yet no drinks on the way) 10 minutes later the manager (JESSICA ARCISD) comes to the table apologize and said she would check on our beverage order and told us that our food had 7 before him. We have expressed our concerns and have now given it the opportunity to do something. 10 minutes further and at 8:50 my wife goes to the bar and our drinks are already made and just sit on the bar counter without bartender in sight. Smh. So we finally get our drinks, but wait for food. (Don't forget that we have a 5 year old with us, who is also waiting and hungry)20 more minutes go by and around 9:15 the manager goes back to our table and noticed that we haven't eat yet and told us that she would check for the food. She comes back 5 minutes later saying that our ticket lost "

"I understand that a table of six might not receive the highest quality service if they only order water to drink and skip appetizers. However, it took a long time for us to eat, and my drawn black nachos had obviously been sitting out and cooled for quite a while, as the meat was pretty cold. To make matters worse, the waitress brought out some dishes while some of our group were still eating. Overall, it wasn't the best experience."
