"Friday last week June 25 I ordered curry chicken rice peas and cabbage with jerk chicken rice peas and cabbage and the food looked good but the jerk chicken gravy was like Louisiana burned charcoal gravy salty and not jerk chicken I’ve ever eaten and the rice and peas tasted like water literally on both platters ……I immediately called and folds I would be able to get two dinners at s later date by the young supposedly manager ……… so today it’s Saturday July 2 I called politely told them who I was a young lady says hold on I didn’t speak with you ….. she came back and said again hold on ….. the young man came to the phone remembering me and telling me “I can get the rice for free and pay for chicken and cabbage two free drinks etc …..no I’m not paying for nothing after being promised two meals’ …..he then said no mind you can get both after I reminded him of our conversation….you run a business I am a consumer I’m spending my monies and Jamaican food is suppose to be authentically good! I’m upset! So I tried to call them back it’s apparent my number is blocked …I wanted to politely call back and tell them thanks and not to fix the food I’d rather take the loss $28 and go next door to the Chinese place who by the way had delicious really good fresh food and you won’t go wrong!! With the attitude I won’t trust what he may do to my fodd! And just know there is much better Jamaican food in RVA. It’s not fair that you think you can reset the button when as a consumer I trust you will treat me right as a consumer if you want me to support your authentic option as food! Good luck! I’ decided to call the Midlothian location asked to speak with the owner!!!!! When I tell you the jerk chicken the curry chicken was A+ and done! I will definitely go there for my Jamaican!!!!!!it is in the total opposite side of town but it was worth the ride and I appreciate the owner making up for the mishap! Thx!"
