"We reserved weeks in advance and ended up seated in a tiny table for two in the middle of the restaurant. Servers had trouble finding our table because apparently it wasn’t actually a real table. It was quite loud where we were seated. Food was good, but we were also starving. We were excited they were serving a Christmas dinner, but very disappointed there wasn’t a vegetarian option (all other restaurants we looked at during our stay had both a meat and a vegetarian option). The server was outstanding and genuinely thanked us for coming. We ended up choosing to go elsewhere for dessert as we weren’t enjoying the ambiance, where we were seated, and weren’t interested in the dessert selection. A seasonal dessert would have been nice. Mantles is also quite pricey, we got an appetizer to share, a beer each and a main and it came to over $100. During quieter times up Sun Peaks, we have really enjoyed the privacy and ambiance of Mantles, especially the patio, but unfortunately this was lacking for our Christmas dinner. Would recommend for a regular dinner, but not for another Christmas dinner."
