"In the last night of our vacation, as we wandered around DC all day, we were starved and my husband was hungry for a steak and a baked potato. We had settled in another restaurant, but soon they found out that they did not recommend their steak this night and were OUT of baked potatoes. He was open and found Joes. We were not dressed for a chic restaurant like Joe’s, but the staff immediately felt at home anyway. We had the most delicious meals we had at the age. Filet mignon and a potato the size of Idaho for hubby, salmon au poive and asparagus for me. Before I had never ordered a $25 glass of wine, but it was so good, I swear it was as if I had two. The only drawback was the long staircase up to the toilets, but even then the view was so beautiful with a view of the room below. Also note the perfect music they played for dinner. Recommend this place for a big splurge."
