"This restaurant is a local favorite that I had not had the opportunity to explore until recently. I heard there is usually a waiting period of 10 minutes, but after we found road parking, we didn't have to wait at all! On Saturday, 27th August, at dinner even, we were greeted directly in! The ambience is very theatrical/kozy/western. I loved the warm lighting, high ceilings and vintage decoration. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the MOST friendly, professional and PATIENT bartender I've ever met. It took some time to come for our food, but if it was EVERYTHING we would have wanted!! The veggie onigiri was balanced, light perfection. The Tofu skewer was so crisp, but still so silky/melt in your mouth that even this vegetarian did not want to believe it was real! And finally, after a dry/good balanced bottle of white wine recommended by our bartender, our last dish arrived. The veggie udon noodles were plump, drown in the most tasty, tasty herbs/garese broth can be imagined! Then I used the toilet room that was easy to find and very clean. Our tab was worth every penny, our experience: unpaid. If you are looking to treat yourself to excellence, or are on a date, this place is the perfect setting!!"
