"While I'm sure they make a fine adana kebab, there are any number of places nearby to get that and all the other Turkish basics. The reason to come here is for the items you won't find anywhere else. Our group of four ordered a bunch of small plates and shared, which is probably the best way to enjoy Meyhane. Standouts: red cabbage tarator, octopus tapa, beef cheeks, beef tongue casserole, lamb liver, lamb kidneys, and sautéed intestine. For dessert, the halvah with ice cream was outstanding. Service was super friendly and helpful; the waiter thoroughly and cheerfully answered all our questions about the menu. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!"
