"Just WOW! Where to switch from DC to MD, I didn't think we'll find another great Indian restaurant. Boyyy was wrong. My man I've eaten here three times, but we've taken out what was still amazing. Since the kids were at school, we decided to make a quick lunch this time. Okay. The drinks were good, I had a strawberry Margarita my husband had the Moscow Mule both delicious. Appetizers we share with the chickens. Main course we both shared goats and lamb (so much taste) my taste buds were dancing. We cannot forget the naan bread the garlic butter taste. Would be so much better if there was some authentic Indian music that was quiet and not interrupting our conversation. "The big vegan menu was the main reason why I wanted to try this place. When we arrived, I asked about the vegan menu because it wasn't with the regular menu. Once we ordered it was declared that they don’t have to go because “something with the inspector.” I'm not sure what that means. Then several other items on the menu were not available for vegan and non-vegans alike. The service was slow, which was hard to fathom as it was just another table. What we ordered tasted good... but it wasn't what we originally had."

"Before we received our food I was thinking, “oh they are already down a star” the service was just incredibly slow. They only had one server, who was doing his best, but still, the service was slow. The food made up for it. We had the tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala with a side of naan. Everything was so good and worth the wait. "I used to consider this restaurant to have average Indian food in the area. It was convenient, decent, and affordable. However, over the past two years, the portion sizes have significantly decreased. When I mentioned this to the person at the pickup counter, they insisted that the serving size was normal. This is not true. The prices have gone up slightly, while the portions have shrunk considerably. This new portion size is not acceptable after being a loyal customer for almost a decade. I suggest that we all refrain from ordering from this restaurant until they return to their previous portion sizes. I'm not upset, just stating the facts. The portions have definitely decreased, from being full to now only 2/3 to 1/2 full."

I called ahead to let them know we were a group of 10 and they had a nice table all set and ready for us. The service is great. They are all very friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and efficient. We've been coming to this restaurant for years, even before these new owners, and the food is more outstanding even than before! Their curries are delicious, the Tandoori chicken comes with a lot of veggies on top, and their garlic Naan is soft and yummy. It's not loud inside and the lighting is just right. I highly recommend it. Plus, I noticed they have lunch specials during the week. A great place to bring a friend or share a family meal together."
