"Had the worst experience! Someone walked in the bathroom when I was using it. The madam ji staff didn't do anything about the fight that happened later on because of someone puking all over the restaurant and spilling champagne over other people. We got into a fight later and the staff never bothered to call 911 over these trashy people. I don't know how they could serve alcohol to this table when clearly they were so drunk. I would never go to this place again."

"I sung her to the birthday of a friend, and I really like everything. as fan of huh tikka masala I decided to expand my palate on newer things. I tried this new court called murgh makhani, and I thought it would be pretty good, especially with a side of jasmine reis. They also have some beautiful margaritas that made me feel. comfortable. they're all so over in wellesley when you feel a little Indian tonight."

"it was a near 3 star experience with the service 3,* eat 3,* ambiente 2.* the trip to henrico (13 miles) and the place (more miles on a busy strip) could slow down an eager diner in the city. we enjoyed a beer and glass wine, appetizers, and entrée (lamb biryani, sizzling meat plate) and enjoyed all this. Nevertheless, in a series of Indian restaurants, we were unclear how indien k’raja was rated so high."

"I went in to order take out. When my order was rung up, the price was about 25% higher than the on line menu and the physical menu price. When I asked about it, the cashier pointed to a table with a copy of the menu. There was also an engraved plastic sign that said prices may be higher due to inflation. This strikes me as a deceptive practice. I cannot recommend this establishment."

"This is my favorite Indian restaurant (so far) in Louisville. The vegetable korma was smooth and creamy with a nice kick, and the baingan bharatha was packed with flavor and ginger aroma. This place definitely has the best naan, with the garlic naan being VERY generous with garlic, and the aloo naan being soft and fluffy. Prices are comparable to other Indian restaurants. 5 stars!"

"I wish I could give Janta more stars. I really love the food there and will return. That being said their service while sweet and friendly, is really really long. Everytime I go there with other people I always have to apologize and explain that it's worth the wait, so make sure you're not super hungry when you go. It's pretty much the only local (Palo Alto) Indian restaurant that is not greasy. Everything is absolutely delicious. My sister who is a real Indian food lover thought it was the best Indian food she's ever ha."

"I used to love this Indian restaurant, with great food, flavor and generous portions of meat and vegetables. However, in the past two weeks, I have been disappointed with my orders through DoorDash. The food arrived on time, but lacked flavor, had small portion sizes, and was missing meat. My chicken tikka masala had no chicken, and the lentil soup had no lentils, only broth. I called the restaurant to voice my concerns to the manager, but felt my complaints were not taken seriously. Can anyone recommend another Indian restaurant? "I went into this restaurant not really expecting too much, but I walked away pleasantly surprised! The service was very friendly and the food was amazing! Indian food is one of my favorites so it takes good food to impress me. For only being open a short while everything went smoothly. "We had the whole restaurant to ourselves as we had a birthday lunch early on a Wednesday. The server was extremely nice and clearly invested in our dining experience. The food is really delicious and I am my wife, we are really happy satisfied. The spicy other food was just right The taste was great, what more can I say well the money. Two of us had lunch my wife had the provider I had a kind of goat curry a little rice tax tip, the whole thing came to about $45. Too bad they don't make a buffet anymore, but since the food was so good, I didn't care that I spent $45 on getting back as fast as I could."

"Some of the best Indian I've had in the US for sure. Don't be put off by the storefrontdecor this is good stuff! Family owned joint where grandma came out to talk to us and see how we liked the food. I'd recommend going all out for the Traditional Thali for a taste of everything. Don't let the old building deter you, as the table linens and silverware are spotless. The tasteful paintings add to the cozy atmosphere. "Great option for authentic Indian food. A nice, quiet restaurant run by a family. They have a whole vegan/gluten free section on the menu. Had the tofu masala and an eggplant dish that were both delicious. Each dish comes with lots of rice, and beware the dishes are quite spicy!"
