"I went looking for this place after seeing the reviews on Yelp. I found a place whose address matched. A large sign reading St. George Tavern was outside hanging over the entrance, and there was a piece of paper taped to the door reading Jiangnan Chinese restaurant. I went inside and was immediately struck by the interior. It looked like it was still a tavern, all wood, and a really cool looking long bar in the back. I imagined that this is what it looked like when it first started as a tavern. I didn 't see any other people so I started to walk to the bar area. A voice behind me said you can 't be in here. I turned and a woman in a security guard uniform approached. She had been sitting there in the dark and I had had no idea anyone was there. I asked if I were in the right place for the restaurant as it didn 't seem like I was. She told me it wasn 't a restaurant. So then I asked if she might know where the Chinese restaurant was because I had the right address. She said she didn 't know. Then a group of people come down the stairs that were off to my left and go to the bar. She didn 't stop them. That 's when I asked her why there was a piece of paper on the door outside saying this was the restaurant. Then she looked down to the bar area and changed up the story the restaurant wasn 't open yet. At this point I thought I 'd entered the twighlight zone and just left. What a weird experience. I have no idea how the food is. Won 't be back."
