"Ended up at this place by accident. My car was in the shop for repairs when the city shut the place down for a gas leak. Needed somewhere to spend a few hours. Glad I did! For the longest time I didn't even know this place was a Pub, but then you would not think it was given its unassuming strip small location. Walking in you are instantly transported out of Suburbia and into a very nicely furnished wood paneled bar and dining area. Staff were very attentive and polite, and happy hour goes from open to dinner time. Yay! I went basic and ordered the burger, and it was so good I had to take a picture. Excellent presentation, right amount of meat to bun and topping ratio, and the bun was delicious. All the little things that set great burgers apart from something you expect to find at a fast food joint. Even better, the fries were also delicious and not your generic frozen crinkled you would usually expect. Considering how busy the place was for lunch I can only conclude the other items were just as popular. Everyone around me seemed to have ordered a good mix, and the place was packed on a Thursday afternoon. Excellent establishment, with a keen attention for detail. It's the little things that set places apart. Even more tempting had it not been so early was their massive selection of whiskey. They have alot, and the discerning eye noticed a couple bottles that are hard to find. The owner of this establishment is clearly a man of culture and taste. My one minor gripe was that the music volume was a tad too loud for a Thursday afternoon lunch, but that is a gimme and probably a result of a staffer fat fingerings the button. 5 stars!"

"I just had surgery and hadn 't eaten in a few days. Manhatten is at the end of our development so I thought I 'd get my order in early, at 7:30 am and have breakfast with my friend who was visiting at 9. I have restrictions, no lifting, bending, twisting so I instructed driver to leave on the porch table and my friend would bring it in when she arrived.I ordered a half dozen bagels, lox spread, 2 bagel sandwiches (to freeze for the week), two 20 oz cokes and a 2 ltr coke. Additionally I requested that bagels be sliced (i did not see any indication that there was a charge for this but the receipt showed 1.50) and sandwiches be toasted. I received a call from Manhatten that they didn 't have lox spread so I told them to substitute regular (expecting refund of the extra 1.00 they charge for flavored cream cheese). I don 't think I was refunded.20 minutes later the driver rang my bell because the receipt showed 3 bottles of soda yet they gave him 3 fountain sodas and he wanted to make sure it was OK before leaving it. I made it to the door, opened to talk to him but my dog wanted to smell him, she 's a new addition and if she got out, she may never find her way back. So I 'm trying to hold the dog in with my foot while mindlessly taking the drinks from him because I 'm extremely mad (i didn 't want fountain soda) and my dog is trying to get out. Again, talking to him, trying to keep dog in while taking the sodas from him. Needless to say I aggravated my surgery and was in bed for 4 days following. I didn 't have my brace on as I wasn 't expecting to answer the door, the brace is what restricts me from bending or twistinh. That is the 1st problem, wrong sodas and injured my back.I proceed to unpack my bagels while calling Manhatten to ask WHY they sent fountain sodas. I ordered a 2 ltr because I can 't drive and it would last a few days. Fountain soda with ice isn 't helping that situation, especially not for 3.50. All 3 sodas were half ice and a waste of 6.00. All they had to say when I asked WHY they sent fountain soda was this location doesn 't stock bottled sodas . I asked WHY they didn 't call me before substituting, they called me about not having the cream cheese, easy to add we dont have bottled soda . Again, this location doesn 't stock bottled soda . I hung up, frustrated and annoyed that I possibly damaged my surgery for a bagel order.I didn 't realize there were other issues until I hung up. NO BAGELS WERE SLICED and neither sandwich was toasted.I paid 65.00 for 6 bagels, w cream cheese, 2 bagel sandwiches and 3 sodas. I will not be ordering from them again. There is no excuse for this, at 60.00 (delivery, tax and tip incl), I expected more. I think delivery was 9.00, and they used grubhub although I ordered directly from their website.Had a customer expressed dissatisfaction and hung up, I 'd have a Manager call them back and work it out. No call back, no refund or compensation. Such a shame they have great food but don 't care about their customers.I was also onsite one time when a customer came in with a sandwich in her hand and asked if their egg bagels had poppy seeds in them? They told her YES to which she replied I 'm allergic, would you accept the sandwich back and refund me? She was a well dressed, small older woman. They said NO. First, WHO puts poppy seeds in an egg bagel and WHY wouldnt you accept back the uneaten sandwich, throw it out and at least offer her a new sandwich? She quietly, and calmer than i would have been for a 6.00 sandwich, walked out. This place wont last long in this area, treating customers this way."
