"Got a group that can’t agree on a pizza? Mountain Mike's offers a half-and-half pizza option. We opted for a Chicken Club on one side (featuring creamy garlic white sauce, chicken, bacon, diced tomatoes, and green onion) and Garlic Toscano on the other (with traditional red sauce, Louisiana hot sausage, salami, black olives, garlic, green onion, and sun-dried tomatoes). I’m a big fan of white sauce pizzas! I usually try to avoid tomatoes due to personal issues (as a food writer, that can be challenging), but I found the creamy garlic sauce delicious and would happily have even more of it. The Chicken Club pizza tastes just like a chicken club sandwich, enhanced by the smoky, salty flavor of the bacon and the fresh zing of the green onions.
The Garlic Toscano is my husband’s favorite (not just because it’s Italian!). He enjoys meaty pizzas, and this one delivers with its lightly spicy sausage, salami, and olives, which provide a fantastic aroma. The green onions offer a refreshing touch, while the sun-dried tomatoes add a hint of sweetness.
As for my personal favorite, it has to be the Snowy Alps pizza. It features creamy garlic white sauce along with peppers, mushrooms, black olives, sausage, green onions, and diced tomatoes. The combination of garlic sauce and hearty pizza is simply irresistible. I also need to mention that I’m a fan of their traditional crust. I don’t like it too thin, and while I sometimes crave a thick crust, I find that Mountain Mike’s has perfected the thickness—it’s just right.
Also, their bone-in chicken wings come with a choice of four delicious sauces: Frank's RedHot Buffalo, Frank's Stingin’ Honey Garlic, Frank's RedHot Sweet Chili, and KC Masterpiece Original Barbecue. My favourite is definitely Frank’s Stingin’ Honey Garlic—it has a perfect balance of sweetness and garlic, making it fantastic with the chicken wings. It's reminiscent of the sweetness found in the Snowy Alps pizza! Frank's RedHot Sweet Chili tastes just like the sweet chili sauce you’d enjoy with spring rolls or egg rolls, and it pairs perfectly with the crispy chicken wings. Frank's RedHot Buffalo sauce is exactly how a buffalo wing should taste, with a delightful aroma that enhances the experience. KC Masterpiece Original Barbecue is a classic crowd-pleaser, offering a lovely balance of smoky and sweet flavors.
For dessert, don’t miss the Chocolate Pizzeria Cookie. It brings back memories of the Tollhouse Cookie Bars my mother made when I was a child. It has that homemade taste with buttery richness, brown sugar sweetness, and warm gooey chocolate chips."
